That's deep, man.

The fact that T-Paw admitted that a "conversation took place" is quite telling. I'll give him credit for one thing: he hasn't sunken to the implausible deniability of the modern conservative cadre known as the Bush administration. On the other hand, to say that this was not a personal thing against St. Paul is utter nonsense. I mean, we all know that the DECC is a much more important public works project than, oh, I dunno, our transportation infrastructure.

I watch the Minneeeesota Democrats in action on the local Publicly Funded TV station.

If one were to look up "Napolean Complex" in the Dictionary....Mr Sertich's picture would be next to the definition.

I do not know why he doesnt have a Hyphated last name though.

Pawlenty will easily out stick-handle this wussy. As long as cheap shots are in play...Sertich is out of his league. This guy never could and still can't hold his own. He's a poor excuse for a Ranger, one we're not very proud of.

Wow, $1.5 million out of $208 million cut, that is a pretty low percentage (aprox .00721) to be crying about.

Yep, that's what Pawlenty always says. His veto gets overridden, he calls for revolt. He doesn't get the new nursing home he wants at the VA, so he line-items out $200M. Don't pretend it's about fiscal responsibility - it's about little Timmy asserting his authority when he thinks the others aren't giving him what he wants. What he never remembers is that in order to get what he wants, he should try giving them part of what they want.

Oh, I think you underestimate Pawlenty..he remembers. But now to the point of "try giving them part of what they want", are you nuts? He approved $700 million. They asked for $1 billion...that's $1,000,000,000! You got that kind of money??

Gee! 1.5 million sounds representative of what each house district would be cut. Lets see 208 million divided by 134 house districts equals. Give me a drum roll please!!!!!!!!!! 1.55 million per district. Well I think the governor must have been picking on him. Oh yeah, actually he reduced it a little less for this district than average. HMMM. Sounds fair. Go Tim Go. Just another DFL legislator hoping we won't check the facts.

This Democratic guy from the Iron Range and the Republican guy from Marshall are two of the biggest yahoo's I have ever seen. How in the heck did their constituents ever elect them? Man, there has to be more qualified folks out in their areas who could do a better job of providing good public service!

let them keep swinging, as long as they keep slashing the budget and leave a little more in our pocket. Next thing you know the cut out the hockey rinks, the parents might just have to pick up the tab for their kids hobbies rather then sticking all of us with the bill

So what if the Gov did axe his program because of cheap shots? Like the guy says, "they're not free!" Maybe he should try and get along with the Gov and see if it gets him a little farther. This is typical "out of touch" politicians, they think they can trash talk you and you're going to help them out like nothing ever happened? Stick em again Gov!

Too bad T-Paw couldn't show the same compassion for the health of the miners as he did, for the hospitality wokers when he saved them from the evils of secondand smoke. Maybe his cronies told him that there aren't enough people voting "up-north."

The article doesn't say what the money was going to? The DFLer are having a hard time for anyone who stands up to them. I wish I could go up to the legislature and demand money.
