The fact that T-Paw admitted that a "conversation took place" is quite telling. Yep, that's what Pawlenty always says. His veto gets overridden, he calls for revolt. He doesn't get the new nursing home he wants at the VA, so he line-items out $200M. Don't pretend it's about fiscal responsibility - it's about little Timmy asserting his authority when he thinks the others aren't giving him what he wants. What he never remembers is that in order to get what he wants, he should try giving them part of what they want.
