McDowell County Schools

I think it's sad that kids who can barely read or write get diplomas. I know it's not the kid's fault, but the school system is failing our children by not expecting more from them. I have friends on my FB who just graduated and cannot form a complete sentence, their spelling is atrocious, and punctuation is not used correctly if at all. Does the school board just pass them thinking it doesn't matter? That they'll never make anything of themselves anyway? Are the parents so oblivious that they can't recognize their children are not progressing the way they should? Does anyone even care anymore?

honey whether you know it or not, it is not because they can't spell, a lot chose to write like that especially if its not school work like essays and punctuation. I suggest you look at the teenagers this time in life, that is just the way they do. Remember the 70's when all of us used to look and act like hippies, peace sign to you.
