Since Bill was single and didn't have a wife or girlfriend...guess that proves you a liar....so I won't even bother to comment on the rest. Isn't any wonder Ambercrombie and Fitch and so many others down people from WVA. This type of behavior sure gives them ample reason!!! Makes me wish I hadn't bought a house there to retire to!!!

You people crack me up. If most of you on here talking shit had a chance, you'd do it too. Only difference is, they helped the community out. The papers forget to mention things like that. There are businesses in and around this area that treat their customers and employees like trash. I personally know 90% of the named coal operators. Every single one of them aren't good people, they're GREAT people. Instead of wasting your time on topix maybe some of you should do your homework and get the REAL story, not the lies and rumors of the jealous.
As far as them getting off free of all charges. That, unfortunately, is untrue. I, along with most people in the area that knows these men, would plead with the judge ourselves if it would do any good. This is my first time ever being on this site, and it will probably be the last. The ignorance of most of you on here is unbelievable.
I'm so glad that some of you are perfect citizens that do nothing wrong. The other 99% of the population can relate to these men. Yeah, they took advantage of a good thing, but they did NOTHING that anyone else wouldn't do!!!!

You would realize that greed wasn't the motivation if you knew them. As far as not knowing when to quit, they did. As far as I know, the feds went years and years back to find anything. But, you know how snitches are, ready to throw someone under the bus to save their butt. And then the feds had to put the blame on someone.

It's really been blown out of proportion. Good people doing good things for people and communities that need it. I think someone called it "robin hood". It is what it is. Don't get me wrong, they should be punished for breaking the law, but 5 to 15 years?!?! Thats ridiculous. The news tonight had a murderer get sentenced to 15 years. It's completely out of control the way our government and our court system sentences crimes.

It's like this, wrong is wrong, no matter who you are and that seems to be the general attitude about this. How much money you have shouldn't play into guilt or innocence and everyone should have the same punishment. Now, with that said, I want everyone to post every name they know that draws or has drew state assistance illegally, worked or worked other people for cash, sold personal items through eBay, yard sales, private sales, etc.. and didn't turn it on on their taxes (that is considered income), claiming disability when they are very able to work....etc. Since its been made public about these men and everyone feels like its their right to pass judgement since they are tax payers, lets put all the ones guilty of defrauding the government on blast. shouldnt be a difference made, right? Since wrong is wrong....This list could go on and on but the point of it is, before anyone starts hollering about greed and wants "their" tax money put back for the taxpayers, you need to make damn sure you're not guilty yourself. I'm sure everyone knows the term guilty by association, so if you know it's going on and don't turn it in, you're guilty also.
