Can some of you all that are on suboxone give me an idea on how much it cost you per month? I don't want to stir the pot by bringing this post back up but I'm trying to find a more affordable doctor.

Buprinex is the ish! And FYI nalaxone only kicks in after 2mgs so if ur tolerance is low Enuff u can get high from suboxone. I've never been a fan of it. We should have heroin clinics that dose you and being you off slowly. Has been working in the Netherlands for quite some time!

I've been on suboxone for quite a while and never gotten high. It has a ceiling effect, so you really don't get high on it. Once you reach a certain point it doesn't matter how much more you take it doesn't get you high. I'm just trying to find out how much other people are paying for treatment. Not looking for Dr. names or anything like that, just prices.

yeah blah, blah ,blah all that bull shit about cold buzzed turkey or what ever, let me just say this, i was on herion, crack , oc, and just about anything esle u could get high on, and i tried everything to get off that shit, but i went to this wonderful place, called frointer addiction treatment and got on suboxone, and i have been clean for 10 months now, wow iam so proud of myself, i work every day, i have a life now, and love life again, so to all of u think that the shit is a joke, can kiss my ass, i really dont give a shit what u say, none of u pay for it for me, i do that myself, if u r looking to get high go get on methodone, or just stay on what u r doing, because suboxone doesnt and i repeat doesnt get u high.....if u r serious about getting clean and staying clean try it, if u never have took suboxone, dont talk about it. because most of what yall are saying is bull shit,,, but i really dont care, it works for me and it saved my life.. and please learn how to spell it, if u r going to talk about it, its spelled suboxone.....
If you are on Suboxone you are still a druggie in my book

If that's how you feel about it then you don't know anything about it. Do some research, then go talk to some people who are on it & taking it properly & I know your opinion will change.

As far as the 30 bux a strip thing, that's ridiculous. Nobody is paying that much...except maybe on the streets & that's gonna be someone who is very desperate if theyre paying that much.

Yep still a dope head! Your are just changing one drug for the other. Quit being a child and quit.also buy your own dope and stop getting your fix on the tax payers. Clinic-legal dope house.

I have no clue what you're talking about man, I pay out of my pocket for my doctor and have insurance thru my job to help pay for my prescription & I assure you I don't live in a dope house.

I'm actually in the process of detoxing right now :) I just started about 3 weeks ago & so far so good. Thanks for the encouragement tho. It wasn't so much to "prop me up" as it was to allow me to get my life in order, get a job, get on my feet, etc. I had to change everything & the suboxone has helped me to do that. But you're right, I don't need it anymore, it's been over a year & I think I'm ready. It's so scary but I have found that its so much more mental than anything else. You have to get your mind right & eliminate all the chaos that you can then get used to having a "normal" life. You just gota know when its the right time.

Oh I did that a long time ago. I didn't have friends back then I had "friends" I don't have as many people around now but the ones that are around are real friends.

It's hard for me to make friends now & I'd never had a problem before. I guess i'm a bit to cautious but it was the company I kept that caused a lot of my probs...I take the majority of the responsibility for gettn myself on dope but keeping bad company sure didn't help

Ok, that's just gross. My big green eyes won't be "oozed" in anytime soon...surely you have a better pick up line than that.

dido!! I've read some pretty strange things on here, esp on the Richlands thread but "holysheet's" comment was just plain creepy!! "may be a lil work involved...." what does that even mean???

Back to the topic at hand, I went to the dr today & he took me down another half so I'm down to 2 a day ya'll! That means I'm 1/3 of the way closer to total sobriety. I don't take anything else besides my vitamins but the suboxone is a narcotic so i'm not technically clean. 1 down, 2 to go YAAY!!:)
