their is one in bluefield, the doc name dr. vrinceanu, she is a good doc but it takes alot of money, $300 for the first week then $100 for the next week then $50 and then $50 again for the first month then $50 every other week, its alot of money but it works, been going their for almost 9 months now, and i have been doing good.thats just for the doc visit, it coast about $96 dollars for the suboxone, a week, but if u want to stay clean do it. they drug test u every month. i have the number if u want it but iam not leaving it on here, i will email it to u, just leave me a email. i hope it will work for u. theirs one in gary to but their not taking new patients, but the one in bluefield is, pretty easy to get in.

This is really not the way to go if you're wanting to get cleaned up. I've had tons of patients on this and it really just messes you up worse in the long run. Your liver will be completely destroyed. The actual drug you're wanting to ween yourself off of is actually probably easier on your body than this. I'm sure a doctor prescribing it to you isn't going to tell you this because you're putting money in their pockets.

I agree with Dry Turkey 100%...I myself was a drug user for 2 1/2 years...addicted to cocaine...the only way to do it is cold turkey...that's the way i went. Yes it it painful. You do go thru a very painful time but in the end it's worth it. Going thru that pain of withdrawl made me never wanna touch the stuff again. To me people that use Suboxin/Methodone Clinics are just looking for a cope say they are getting clean but really you are just looking for a legal drug to get high on..the only method to help people stay off drugs that i recommond is the pelat you can have inserted under you skin...a friend of mine has it and it has done wonders for her. Because with it..if you happen to take any narcotic or opite it can casue serious medical problems even death.

But everybody has their own way of doing things...but my advice is go cold're better off in the long run.
what ever

yeah blah, blah ,blah all that bull shit about cold buzzed turkey or what ever, let me just say this, i was on herion, crack , oc, and just about anything esle u could get high on, and i tried everything to get off that shit, but i went to this wonderful place, called frointer addiction treatment and got on suboxone, and i have been clean for 10 months now, wow iam so proud of myself, i work every day, i have a life now, and love life again, so to all of u think that the shit is a joke, can kiss my ass, i really dont give a shit what u say, none of u pay for it for me, i do that myself, if u r looking to get high go get on methodone, or just stay on what u r doing, because suboxone doesnt and i repeat doesnt get u high.....if u r serious about getting clean and staying clean try it, if u never have took suboxone, dont talk about it. because most of what yall are saying is bull shit,,, but i really dont care, it works for me and it saved my life.. and please learn how to spell it, if u r going to talk about it, its spelled suboxone.....

then do you ever stop taking it? i'm just curious b/c yes it seems like trading for something else. a replacement. so when do you ever stop taking suboxone then?

I think that you should realize that if your capable of cold turkey then do it. If your lucky enough to go to a inpatient the go. If you have a real physical and mental additcion oxy/herion get suboxone. It has worked wonders for me. I am never high. I am basically the same. I need to get off it but it is better then the hustle.

you tell your doctor how much you do in a day oc heroin coke whatever, or as much as your willing to do....he or she will dicide the dose then he will slowly ween you off so you wont have to have anything, at least it did for me and I was on everything you could imagine....2 yaears clean proud to say and I really dont care what others say about one to the other because they probably have never had a sever addiction and if you go cold turkey your more likely to relapse, it's proven. and its nothing like methadone because if you dont have your next does of methadone it is severe withdrawal whereas suboxone or subutex isn't as harsh on your mind and body!

Me too, a drug addict for 16 years, junkie for 10. I tried everything. In patient 3 times, methedone 2 times, which is just another way to get high and the worst withdrawal you will ever feel. Even JAIL. I'm 45 years old. All my friends are dead. I am on suboxone and have been clean 38 months. DAMN proud of myself. 4 years ago I would have bet anything I would have died with a needle in my arm. Today I have a life. A normal one for what I believe normal is. For those of you who think suboxone is a cop out and the same thing as methadone, let me educate you a bit. Suboxone is an opoid, the way it was designed with the combination of the medicines is to be a partial aginost (spelling). It fills the part of your brain up to 100%, according to the dose you are on, that craves the opiotes. Opiotes are full aginosts, which gives you that "high". For those who crush to snort or inject the medicine, the two will split. Methadone is a full aginost, just another replacement. Suboxone is not a replacement and nothing like methadone. I applaud to the one who goes cold turkey, I done that once for 9 months, I also applaud to the one who is on suboxone and not using. I'm not a nurse or a doctor, I do guarantee this, there's not much research out that I haven't done, it was not designed for cocaine users, or those taking or snorting hydrocodone. It was strictly designed for heroin users and IV users. To the "NURSE"- you say this messes you up and destroys your liver. Let me ask you this, How could a junkie mess up more on suboxone than with a needle stuck up their arm? Also, if it destroys your liver, How come it is safe to use if you have HepB and/or HepC, and/or on treatment for either or?

Go to and put the miles you are willing to travel from your home. You will find a doctor that fits your needs.
