I think the statement should be more like...'that handsomely compensate labels and its executives'

The recording industry has always been the biggest culprit in ripping off the artists! Now they see how it feels to be on the receiving end and they don't like it!
Besides, any argument that they are protecting the income of the artists is a joke, anyway. What does an artist get from a major label--$.25 per CD sold? That's the REAL crime right there!
