Meijers lying employees

On March 1st about 3 PM I was in the Lima store shopping. In the meat department I saw a sign "Cooks Ham Shank Portion .97/LB, save .82". I selected a ham and proceeded to the self checkout with my other items. When I scanned the ham it did not come up at the .97 price, so I asked the attendant to please check it. She called the meat department, told them exactly what the sign said, then turned to me and said, "sorry, there is no sign there, I can't give you that price.". I was incredulous, as I had seen the sign, so I told her I would get the sign myself. When I went to the hams, I found the sign had been taken down when she called. Of course I was furious at this dishonesty, went back to the cashier attendant and loudly told her I was not purchasing anything, left my items and walked out. If this type of deceit is your corporate culture and accepted practice, then my current perception of your company is correct, and I will be sharing this story with as many others as possible, If not, I hope you will retrain these store employees. Since I can't trust your sale signage or your employees, I will no longer be shopping at your store.

Nothing matters but them getting your money. By any means necessary.
