I am searching for a new church. I have had terrible luck finding one which is caring and loving. I have visited Harvest and found it to be one of the best in this area. The Pastor is funny and the leadership has the energy it takes to truly leader its members into the promis land. As long as the congregation grows at the same rate. I haven't spent enough time to know if they are truly as they seem. First impression was wonderful..

Hi Hope Seeker. I have been attending Harvest Baptist for 9 years. I love my church! The leadership is solid, but more importantly the teaching is all right from the Bible. We have amazing music, and many home share groups to grow your faith. There is also a great church in St Marys called Calvary Christian Fellowship. It may be closer.

Greetings Hope Seeker! Hope, faith and love is what has saved my family this year and Harvest Baptist is where we share those three - The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit! Nine years ago we stepped into this family of believers and we never left! These folks believe because it is the Bible that is being taught, and they not only care about each other, they care and work for the community. Power of prayer!- You will know for sure because when you read the Bible all you can ever find is the truth and we'll help you see that truth work everyday in your life! Come and visit again, open your heart and mind! We'd love to see you!

Beware Hope. They all say the same thing,. "Their church" preaches the bible ! They are all man made, full of Mans rules that they twist to say it is from the bible! Why do u need this crap? All it is is religious polotics ! Next, they will maniplulate u into giving them money, and as always justify it from their little black book ! I will NEVER believe what a man has to say to me from a EGO DRIVEN PULPET !

Umm....that's just funny!
"Beware...they preach the bible"? Well, duh!
If you're in a church that does NOT preach the bible you need to get out & find one that does!
Every word of the bible is God-breathed!
Poor IvoryKeys....praying for you!=)

Is it true that Harvest Church requires you to give them your tax return so they can monitor the amount you tithe and make sure it is appropriate for what they think you should give?

No, this is not true. We have attended for the past 7 years and have NEVER had to hand over our tax return.

Jesus himself wrote a testament. A lot of scrolls were destroyed because the content was not accepted by the monks who translated them as they wrote the holy bible. Some say the Catholic church has some of these scrolls stashed away in the Vatican. Supposedly Jesus himself said God could be found and worshiped anyplace. It is nice to have fellowship amongst our brothers and sisters as we worship God. I'm not trying to start a holy war on here and have 20 Christians tell me I'm wrong. I don't know the complete truth behind it. I did do a lot of reading on the subject and I guess it could be true that other scriptures exist. I do know God is all around us.

I have attended Harvest since 2010. They don't require
You to do anything. False rumors started by evil. They are loving, caring flawed people . Just like everyone else in this world. I love the Church and the Pastors. Pastor Gary is down to earth and will make you feel welcome.

We have attended Harvest for about 6 years. We tried bigger churches and smaller churches but this one just seemed to fit. The pastors are good and can hold my attention so I am not clock watching. I love it there! Lots of things to get involved in to help you feel included.
