Oracle-Sun merger didn't need E.C. regulation
The European Commission need not have got involved with the Oracle-Sun merger and potential future of MySQL, and should just let the "competitive dynamics" of the open source community play out naturally, said an open source expert.

I totally agree.
Also Mr. Widenius should not ask to free MySql, when he already sold it to Sun and got moneys out of it.
It's no more his property.
