Mr. Patrick, the report said education was already among the highest marks; it does not need you to improve on education; you need to improve on government services or eliminate services to make it more affordable for business. Forthermore, you or anyone else has no idea what the presidents agenda is in this realm or any other; they were never disclosed.
As technology impoves more and more business will leave Mass. to more affordable locations. Transportation and communications (cell phones, internet, etc.) mean you do not have to have your reseach down the street from the universities any more; you have to come up with some more creative or competitive if you want to attrack business.
