They should make it up to a year in jail and a $1,000.00 fine.

I suppose next they're gonna ban buggery too? Perfectly normal, natural, healthy behavior to engage in.

It is OK if you run a person down in the roadway but dammit I do NOT want to see those Styrofoam cups in the trash. that just crosses a line for me.

Everyone should be required to carry their own coffee cup and have it refilled. Except me and Bloomie, of course. Us rich folks don't have to follow any rules.

Yes. Driving drunk and plowing into a pedestrian who is walking his dog, breaking his neck and leaving him there bleeding to death on the side of the road -- only affects that one guy. Styrofoam cups affect us all. Styrofoam kills.

All of us have a choice when going out for coffee whether to drink from a styrofoam cup or not. The pedestrian out walking his dog the night he was plowed into by a drunk, or not, driver, was not given the choice to have his head go crashing through the drunk, or not, driver's windshield. Once rendered unconscious from the impact of his head crashing through the windshield of the drunk, or not, driver's windshield, the pedestrian had no choice but to lay motionless alone except for the comfort of his faithful dog along side a cold dark roadway until he regained consciousness and made his way home. The drunk, or not, driver had a choice to demonstrate moral human compassion for her victim, but we all know what her choice was.

coffee? Really? Did the cops take the dress with spilled "coffee" on it for evidence of possible "coffee" buzz-driving. Was she questioned to possibly determine whether or not she was driving under the influence of the demon "coffee?" Was she charged with the offense of DWC, or DUC? Oh, that's right, the cops went to the wrong address the night she plowed into a dog or a deer, and it/they just ran off. And since it was just a dog or a deer that crashed through her windshield I guess it wasn't really neccessary that the cops actually speak with her. I mean really, it was just a dog or a deer, and it ran off after damaging a perfectly good windshield.

Coffee, really? It's chilling to think that there are people who start drinking this demon beverage early in the morning, everyday. It's just possible there are people who may be on their third long before noon.

The real problem here is was the coffee ground properly?

Secondary is was the coffee hot?

These are the real issues of our times.

I have heard two different versions of the coffee being ground or not. One version had it being fresh ground in Columbia and flown in special for the occasion and the other story was that Cocoa beans were substituted while the server was looking out the window at a half naked woman. Neither story has been verified or not verified so no one, and I mean no one, really knows what happened that day.

Or the day after when the person had explosive diarrhea while attempting a slam dunk on the basketball court of a moving pleasure yacht.

The untold part of that story is how they lace the coffee with Neotame and Mercury. Get you daily dosage with cream AND sugar.

If they ban styrofoam, then only criminals will be able to keep their coffee hot.

Very good point Mr Logic. And a sub culture will develop selling styrofoam cups in dark seedy alleys where peoples will risk their lives and reputations to have that elusive cup of hot coffee. It may even get to be like the French underground with tunnels under the city stinking of week old coffee and urine Oh my!
