I have been following Eric's 2 plus years as a Selectman. He is relatively quiet in the meetings and only speaks when he has something relevant to say.

However, I have heard glowing remarks and even experienced first hand the remarkable job that he has done on consituent services. Not only responding quickly but getting an answer and results.

I am impressed with the overall performance of this energetic, young man.

I am glad that he is seeking higher office that is what our town needs.

People like Fargo did nothing when they cut our town into four pieces.

Now we have someone from our town who is willing to pick up the pieces and get the job done.

I am not interested in sound bites but positive results. He has proven himself capable of that many times.

Sen. Fargo has done nothing to help Chelmsford.

Eric is out there working very hard (and very smart) to get elected. He worked very hard running for Selectman & winning (it was far from a fluke because of the Override)I think more than anything else, it represents what he will accomplish as a State Senator.

He is not flashy but he will be a very strong improvement (understatement) as a State Senator.

So best of luck, Eric. The votes and support are there and more is coming.

So, Hard word pays off, since you're so impressed with Eric, maybe you could name one thing HE has done or taken the lead on to reduce taxes for Chelmsford taxpayers?

I asked my wife if I could quit work and go knocking on doors and hold a sign in the mornings for Eric but she told me no way, she said we need two pay checks to pay the taxes and buy food and that she was not going to do it alone on just her pay check followed by saying that's the Real World and the way it works. So I'm back at work doing what I was hired to do.

Definitely Fargo. She's got 13 years of experience, fights for the right issues, and has a proven "Clean" track record. She's had some issues with showing up and voting. She better straighten that out soon, or she's losing my vote.

Dalghberg has done absolutely nothing as a Chelmsford selectman after running on a business agenda, and speaks in vaguaries here.
Has no policy agenda-just continuously brings up joining the state health plan, that's it.
Voted "no" on a DPW facility, "no" on a needed fire station, no on a simple meals tax w/h revenue going straight to the town, no on everything. No listening to his constituency, which wanted all 3, votes a straight anti-government ticket.
Talks in generalities, backed and helped by the state Republican machine, and runs from the Republican label. If he were independent , he would be unenrolled.
Wow I wasn't going to vote for him, but if he will stand up to the Gov't employee union goons he has my vote.

Not listening to his constituents??? 58% of them voted against the foolish fire station project. They also defeated the first dpw proposal.

Think he was with the majority on that one. He also supported the second dpw proposal (pirced a little more reasonably.

So if any selectman has mirrored the sentiments of the voter, it has been Eric.

It's time for Fargo to be replaced.

I worked on Martinez's 2008 campaign and I can tell you she is a terrible candidate who was reluctant to meet voters...unless of course they agreed with her 100% on the issues. Plus, she had some integrity problems with keeping her word. So, I am glad the GOP has an alternative to Martinez.

I met with Eric recently and came away very impressed. Even though I disagree with him on a couple issues he has integrity and is capable of connecting with voters. Those are important qualities for any legislator to have. Eric has my vote and full support.

So, that's nothing then? You can't name a single thing he's done to reduce taxes in two years?

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Libra

Is a relationship getting dull and predictable? If so, it's time to inject some spontaneity into it, preferably by doing things on the spur of the moment and taking a few risks. Maybe you should go out for a meal for a change. There could also be a surprise in store when you realize you're attracted to someone who's totally different from your usual type.
