Child care costs for my disabled child average approx $27.00/hr.(including the requisite health insurance). It's hardly worth the effort for me to try to re-enter the workforce in this climate, as it's doubtful I can afford to work and pay for care without losing money or just breaking even after commuting costs, etc., in the process. Of course my ex loves to rant about the fact that I'm not working and he has to pay support. What's wrong with this picture?
