I don't know about anybody else, but I'd bet there's a lot of former patients out there saying "What's going on here? And, "Im not buying this whole retirement excuse." I've never heard of a practice anywhere closing like this in such a shocking manner. I don't care what the reason was. I think all of us deserve an answer we can believe. Dr. Wang, over the many years my family and I have gone to him, has become as dear as any member of our extended family. He's been there from the beginning. He was my husband's pediatrician, was there when our oldest was born, and for the countless middle of the night, late night, holiday, weekend, you name it time. It's like having your father die and not ever knowing what ever happened. COME ON!! And, that's not to mention how much Dr.K,Dr. Chakabarti, and the office staff have come to mean to our family. Could someone out there give us an explanation we can believe? I don't care what it is. We love Dr.Wang and his staff.

O.K. What really happened to Dr. Wang? I think all of his loyal patients over the many years of his practice should be given the real story. Because, I don't know about anybody else, but this is not a typical retirement of a doctor that I've ever seen My family and I happen to love Dr. Wang, Dr. K.,Dr.Chakabarti, and his office staff. It would have been nice to be able to express this to them somehow. This is like losing a close family member and not ever knowing what happened to to get a chance to say good-buy. So, I'd just like to say, Dr. Wang you were like a very dear family member. You were there as my husband's pediatrician, you were there when our oldest child was born, there for countless late night, middle of the night, holiday, weekend, you name it time. You were always there. And, now you are not. You have left a very large hole in our lives. I'm sure I speak for hundreds, if not thousands of other patients. Dr.K, Dr.Chakabarti, and your staff will be missed more than they can imagine. So, whatever the reason (even if it is a very abrupt retirement-which I can't imagine)would someone who knows let the rest of us know. Good or bad. No matter what, you'll always mean the world to us. So many wonderful things happened over the years. You left, and didn't even say good-by. It's like losing a family member in death and never having let them know how much they meant to you. Dr. Wang, if you're out there, please say good-by to all of us who love you so much!

Shocked in Watertown?
If you have been such a loyal patient of this screwed up Dr. Wang, then it should be no surprise that finally someone stepped in to close down this shady office.
It is really too bad that this man mentally corrupted so many people with his perscriptions.
Be real. Who practices pediatrics, allergy, immunology, depression and pain management?
Lucky you he was always available. I have one doctor for each of my ailments and sometimes don't hear from them for days.........

Thank you for your comments (finally happy) from W. Newton. At least that gives me some inkling as to what is going on. I don't know the relationship he had with other patients...nor any knowledge about how he was treating them. I do know that I have never had any problem with getting him to refer anyone from my family to another health care professional. Never, not even once. And, we've done so many times over the years. Maybe he is guilty of trying to help too many people...or trying to make things easier for them. He worked tirelessly for his patients, and I admire him. Some of us don't know our own limits. Maybe he didn't know his. If someone felt they weren't getting the care they wanted they could have just gone to another doctor. I wish his patients had been given more warning. If there was concern over anything that was going on it should have come to the attention of the media, so they could let patients know what was going on. If I knew something wasn't right I'd want to warn someone-give them a heads up. For sure he didn't always have a good bed side manner, but at least for my family he was always there. Anyways, that's how I feel.

People may have a lot of comments to make about Dr Wang but he was great physician and always available to his patients at anytime. Try to get a physician to take your call at anytime of the night and meet you at his office. Also, Dr Wang is board certified in all his specialties which makes him very well educated. Maybe he did somenthing wrong or just wanted to retire he is human like everybody else.

For many years now, Dr. Wang has been prescribing pain meds to anyone who asks for them. He was the go to man for drug seekers, who knew that a complaint of backpain, a headache, et al, was the key to a narcotic prescription. Dr. Wang is one of the most unethical practitioners out there, keeping addicts hooked, and taking their cash for scripts. Consequently, the entire office was shut down. Finally.

I am having trouble getting my records from the caritas group. To this date they have miss handled this bad situation and made it worst. Anyone who knows Doctor Wang and the other doctors in his office will tell you. He believed in patient first he was always there when you needed him. For the past 20 years, he has proven that he's a better doctor then these doctors who you call sick so they make an appointment for you a week or two later. I will testify through the health of my family and 5 other families that he is the best damn doctor around....

Ok im sorry but my child had him we loved him at first but then began to hate him. i think he was starting to get old and just didnt care anymore. they were very unprofessional put my daughter on dirty blood stained paper with used needles. one of his assosiates screamed at my child because she couldnt show her where on her back hurt. mind you any doctor or hospital that has seen my daughter will tell you shes the perfect patient so its not like she gave them a hard time. dr wang was a good dr but u couldnt understand him and he was a crooked doctor. my daughter almost needed a transplant because he refused to listen to me n pay attention or record half of the times she had problems and signs that could have avoided surgery.
im sorry but in the recent years he was good for nothing. n the only people who are in love with him n miss him are probably all the low life junkies that he wrote scripts for! when i go to the pharmacy with 6 diffrent perscriptions a week for my daughter n they tell me that the doctor has her on way to high of a dose and too many medications but they cant advise me not to give them to my TODDLER then theres a seriousy PROBLEM!!
