I've been monitoring his broadcasts off and on for some weeks now, it appears that his wife and daughter got tired of living in a trailer while he was brokering low-cost homes for new converts, so they up and left him.
He seems to have had some physical problems, speech is slurred and there are odd memory lapses, might have been a minor stroke?

I am not free to give out names for fear of putting them in danger.I just hope if he is going down that he will not want to take others with him like Jim Jones did.Any information about any changes will be greatly appreciated.

Best clues come from his Saturday morning broadcast from the Tabernacle,(can be heard from his website), sometimes these are three hour rambling harangues and rants that you can get information from by listening between the lines if you don't fall asleep. If he went on like that to family members I'd not be surprised that they left him. The wife of one of his associate pastors in OK, I think, has also left, and members of his commune?/group are embarrasing him with questions which he attributes to Satanic influences.

I did listen some yesterday to his broadcast and he did mention family problems. I do know this is not the only time his wife has left him. We talked to the sherrifs dept in Walterboro over a year and a half ago and they told us hat Stairs wife had been in the sherrifs dept filing complaints about Stair being abusive. Duing that time she was living in a van outside the commune.While I was listening to him on Sunday, he was talking about a spirit of suicide coming upon him at one point and he was driving 90 miles per hour on some road when supposedly God spoke to him.My concern is that he will try to take others with him and they would be foolish enough to believe he is a prophet 0f God and that they should do what he says.

a speculative update:
His harangue this morning rambled for over 4 hours, covering chicken coop construction, Andrew's haircut, someone (unfortunately named 'Lucky') who showed up with an unannounced female companion looking for accommodation, and some remarks which seem to indicate his wife is suing for support. Since he is trying to avoid 501c reporting (?) he asks for offerings to made in his name. He claims both to have given her $10,000 in the last year and that he has no money, it all goes to broadcast costs, a bit of a problem there in my opinion.

He expressed strong support for abortion, a very unusual opinion for evangelicals. Marriage is now forbidden because it will produce children who will take attention away from him.

To digress for one of his most amusing teachings: time began about 7000 years ago when the earth was created; there were never any dinosaurs because they lived millions of years ago and there are no years prior to ca. 5000 BC.

There seemed to have been some resentment in his requiring everyone to fast through this past weekend, resulting in someone being told to leave. He missed the Monday morning service because of a trip into town with a cheque for her, so he spent over two hours in the afternoon on that subject, and may have been most upset with the thought that she might support another radio ministry!
The way he sounds in his wanting Teresa back would be on his (or His) terms as a trophy wife.

Sorry, I tuned in a bit late and he had gone into the congregation to rant away from the microphone. I think the victim was a lady who had broken the fast by taking a drink of water, but that may be a guess. Pity those services aren't rebroadcast, I'd know to record some of them (using a VCR so the tape would accommodate more than two hours). Other time was taken in that service by haranguing "Lucky" and his female friend, a lady from New York and a gentleman from Atlanta who Stair had discovered had not given everything they had to him.
Another "feast" next week may provide more entertainment.
