someone should look into who caused stewarts injuries from last year...Chris Goodman of keene would be a good start!!That is who he was with when it happened, what kind of sick nasty piece of scummy garbage do you have to be to leave somone in that condition. Stewart had a troubled childhood and life, it is sad to think of the potential he had but couldn't break away from his bad choices. I really feel sorry for the child in stewart that had to be raised the way he was. The entire situation is a tragedy. I heard also that stewart was given some kind of drug when he was out onjob find from the jail. so whomever it was ,they are partially responsible for what hapened. Stewart, you were a human being and it's really sad you were never really treated like one!! RIP

Stewart never really had a chance in life. The majority of his family are scumbags and it's too bad that they were never really there for him the way that they should've been.

He was given drugs while he was out on job search from jail, yet nobody is being held accountable for any of that.

I feel for the little girl he left behind. That he will not be around to see her graduate high school, get married or have children of her own. Luckily, she has a far better mom than Stewart did.

RIP...

I am a member of Stewarts family and i cant believe the things that are said here about our family. Stewart had his problems but i am proud to say he was family just like im proud of the rest us. All you maggots putting our family down and you dont even have the courage to give your whole names or in some cases a name at all. Our family is strong and every single one of us has all the others backs. United we stand.

I lived with stewart for 4 months until his death in sept. of 09. I slept 2 cots over from him in an overcrowded inhumane gymnasium, that the cheshire county officials deemed fit for 40 men with 1 sink and 1 toilet for all of us.
Stewie was a man of few words, but the words we did share were important to him as well as myself. We became good friends and I was very sad to see him die that sept. morning.
Theres alot more to the story than meets the eye, and alot of people are ignorant to the true events leading up to stew's death. The state of nh as well as cheshire county should be proud of the way they all made it go away so blamelessly. They should be ashamed of themselves for how they treated inmates in 2009 in the gym and made everything just disapear, leaving themselves all innocent of course. Good job assholes. I hope what they say is true. What goes around, comes around. mike w.

Im not sure how I found this almost 4 years after his death. I know my brother had problems because of the way we were raised and he wasn't the best kind of person but he did have a good heart for the people he was close to. I know personally I haven't been able to get passed the fact that Cheshire County Just swept it under the rug and made it all go away so quickly. Thanks to all who had good things to say about my brother and as for the post from MIKE* your a coward for posting that without your full name if you have any balls at all you'll respond to this post and tell me who you are!
Thanks,
Stewarts lil Bro.

I'd never believe any "official" report regarding cause(s) of death from jail or prison officials. They are very invested in covering up anything that might cause embarrassment and or any scrutiny of their mismanagement of a facility and the violence allowed and often encouraged within their walls. It is virtually impossible to get truth from any jail or prison employee about any number of things that go on behind the walls of these horrific facilities.

They are supported in this twisted attitude by many in the public, some examples have been shown on this page, who are ignorant of the legal requirements jail and prison guards and officials have to protect those in their custody. In addition those responsible for oversight and funding of the county, state and federal jail and or prison systems are wholly inadequate for the difficult task they fail so miserably in carrying out.

The injuries, assaults and deaths within our correction facility walls are covered up by corrupt officials and most often ignored by a short sighted and unthinking public whose dime store version of punishment or of rehabilitation should embarrass them rather than have them publicly prove their idiocy via public forums.
