So did taco bell close, hope not I doubt that KFC can keep it's doors open just selling chicken. I know I know it used to be just KFC, I my family quit eating there. It has got way to pricey for the service and kind of food you get, not the same since they changed the oil to zero trans fat just hope the make it walnut ridge can't afford to lose anymore business

Taco bell did close and it was because of the taco bell franchise who demanded the drive thru hold seven cars or the contract would be taken away sad part is they gave kfc only a few hours to do this in, not exactly going to happen so yes taco bell is gone, i personally believe its a sad thing the way they went about it!

Not exactly true, Chris Fowler knew about this last year and refused to extend the drive thru. So, Taco Bell pulled the franchise. Petty and bogus I know, but hey thats a Fowler for ya.

When KFC closes it will rock the town. We need this business, its revenue and its psycological effect on other eateries. When we can't even keep or have a KFC we will be in bad shape for sure.

I dont know Chris Fowler, but exactly how would anyone extend that drive thru, I mean the speaker is right by the road, and really couldnt be moved one way or the other.

If this "rocks the town" it may be time to just throw the last shovel in and call it quits.

They could have added a second window at the back of the building to have 1 to pay, and 1 to pick-up just like McDonalds. That would give enough room for at least 7 cars. It doesn't seem like it would be that big of a deal to do. Sounds to me like Fowler didn't think they would pull out, but they called his bluff.

well just one more business gone and more to follow I am afraid, pretty sure the CC(Country club) will be the next, so more job loses. its getting really slim pickings living in WR. Guess that is why so many are moving to Jboro. Just hope we dont lose our walmart, because when that happens, this town will be dead.

I work at KFC and was runnin my shift when TacoBell was closed at the last min. The building is so small and there isn't a place for a second window anywhere in the back. Our store is by far the smallest I have ever been in. I do agree sales will go down but some do what they have to do. Me and the rest of the workers are disapointed that we no longer have TacoBell. And I'm sure alot of the customers are too.

I hope KFC will now invest in the equipment they need for grilled chicken. The WR restaurant has yet to make this available. An addition of this product would bring my business back to the restaurant.

I use to work at KFC and the area manager didn't allow any of his KFC's to carry grilled chicken when they first come out with it.. including Pocahontas, and Jonesboro. At that time the closest place to get the grilled chicken was Searcy. I'm not sure how it is now.

that's funny I've worked at KFC for 3 years in Wr and have lost weight. Once you work here you it's easier to cut back on greasy food when you work with it everyday
