So you are saying that you believe I'm the bible? A book that was was wrote by several different people. A book whose shorter books were selected by a committee. A book that has been edited? Sounds like a book of short stories that were compiled as a childs story.

yes the bible was written by Several different people, and yes they are stories-- that are true, teachings and what not now about the topic,GOD created everything, whether he created it to evolve or be as it is we may never know, god gave the abilities to do many things, and yes i believe creatures evolve to adapt to their surroundings, but i also believe that we didnt evolve from a rock, fish or monkey, i encourage you to look up a Dr Dino, he is very interesting and backs up his stuff

Science is very close to creating simple life forms in the lab. Would it change your view of God if they succeed?

It amazes me some people truly believe that ALL of this started from a big bang billions of years ago. Billions LOL I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion as well. Although I am not a regular attending church going type of person, I do believe that a higher power had something to do with this.

I know they are but that is not creating life. I said they were close to creating life. Will that change your opinion of God if they succeed? I have not given my opinion on this subject, just asking a question.

I don't know if I will change my view. I think there will be a day when life as we describe it today will be created by people in a laboratory. We have always referred to God as the creator and I think my question is a legitimate one. I really don't know how it will effect peoples view of The Creator.

If this is your fear then I suppose you should address it. I am not the one to discuss it with you need someone trained in psychotherapy or whoever it is that helps people with their fears.
no faith necessary

Instead of creationism vs. evolution, it should read fundamentalist religion vs. science. Evolution doesn't address creation or the origin of life. It explains the diversity of life forms only.
