Has anyone had a bad experience while in the hospital? The doctors have been very nice, but the nursing staff and CNA's have been real bad to a family member of mine

That's nothing new. They have pretty good doctors but almost all the nursing staff is rude or just not good at what they are doing. This is bad because their are a few who are the best, you could not ask for better caring people. But that's just it the bad ones makes it harder on the GOOD one's. They need to clean house and get rid of some who think they own the place. When it's our tax dollar that keeps them going most of the time.

really it is one of the most stressful jobs dealing with sick people so give 'em a break you never know what they are going through on their own I know its hard for family members but for the most part there are caring people in health care otherwise why would they be there?

There is always a grouch or a butt in nearly every group but for the most part we have a good little hospital and should be very thankful to have the expertise that we have so close to home. Our ambulance services are also A rated.

wellll, I know for sure some of the cna"s are very rude and not all are caring, some are just there for the paycheck... and some don't wanna do their job. if i have to be hospitalized, i will go elsewhere, they treated my family member very badly...and when released from LMH died approx. 40 minutes after being released. proper care was not given or would still be alive. and as for ambulance services go. well medic one needs to be shut down.
hows that

Details? sometimes no matter what kinda medician is used its your time to go. what age? health problems? was a coroner involved? if you are accusing the hospital for killing your loved one, then why didn't you get a professional opinion (autopsy)?

Thank you LMHS! Health services are the largest source of employment in Lawrence County. Also every time I've needed to discuss a family members condition with one of the professionals working for them they have been very helpful and courteous.

I have used and had family members use LMH lots of times for emergencies and they have all been great in the ER, hospital and ambulance services. I always request Wendall Jones but have nothing against Medic One. My mom was at LMH the last month she was alive and the doctors, nurses and staff treated her and the family with professionalism. We and my mom would never have gotten the great care she received at any other hospital. She had been at Jonesboro several times and received good care but they were always to busy to give the proper care we needed during her last days. LMH was wonderful at keeping comfortable and pain free and were very caring to the family's needs also.

I hate that hospital!! The staff and drs were very rude when it came to a family member of mine. His sugar kept dropping to about 40 every 30 Mins. His vain got busted and some. Other problems due to a disability he had prior and the nurses would not clean his sheets or nothing they said they don't do that there soo he had to lay in it the whole time!?what the heck then they kept giving him sugar orange juice n sent him home an hour later in the pouring rain in winter and no shoes and did not help push him out. Then did not tell us his sugar was going to keep dropping every 30 Mins and when it happ again and I called them to see what to do Thy said to keep giving him sugared orange juice cuz that's all they would do and I could call the ambulance but they would do the same thing and send them home n hung up on me. I couldn't believe it how rude they were and something should have been done cuz it's not normal for a person with high blood sugar normally to keep dropping like that and he had conjestive heart failure and was swelled up real bad and that was the day they released him from
the hospital and messed up on his medicine dosages. But he ended up dieing 2 days llater. I believe he would still be alive today if it wasn't for that and it was the holidays soo his original dr was out. It was crazy the way he was treated by both drs and nurses that night. But the night he died there was a whole differant crew there and they were very nice and kept apologizes for the other ppl. Soo i think it's who u get when u go there. Because the night he was there and they were rude there were only one other couple in there the whole time.

We use the hospital and clinics quite often, we have always got better treatment than we do at Jonesboro. Over here you are a person over there a statistic.
Unfortunately the condition you described is a common medical condition and there ain't anything that can be done about it regardless of what hospital you are in.
