How are the Flash Markets (Big Al's) getting away with having those illegal slot machines? Yes I know that they give gift cards in leu of cash but it is the same thing. You are risking money for money by playing a 'game of chance' and that is plainly illegal in AR. I just hope that the Sheriff gets wind of it and shuts it down.

I think the attorney general does not agree with you. Watch for the Flash Mkt to get caught with its pants down.

Some things in life are legal though morally wrong. Some things are legal that are just as bad or worse than some things that are illegal. That is life. To practice something illegal can get your but in the slammer. Personally, I think the Flash Market gaming machines are illegal according to Arkansas law. It will be a matter of time until they are gone.

I clearly believe these type of machines that are at the local quick shops are illegal in Arkansas. It is surely a matter of time until the local or state police confiscate the machines. I hear the prosecuting attorney is looking into the matter. Any amount of reasoning will not make the law against having and operating this type of machine in Arkansas legal. I for one do not one to be caught as a witness when the cops walk in to charge someone for operating them. So I will be shying away from the inside of those places for a while.

It will probably continue like it did the last time until the prosecuting attorney cracks down on it.

Explain that to the judge when these places get busted. The prosecuter is doing just like the last time, waiting until he feels the community is behind him.
