Everyone that can should help find the missing girl. Go check all the creeks, rivers, lakes and ponds. Edges of woods and trails that may have fresh sign of tracks, etc.

Well if the land still exists there a chance she could be in that area somewhere near water. I really hope they find her and I might b completely wrong about where she might be but I didn't think it would hurt to put out what I have been feeling intuitively. Good luck

Every lake/pond you are seeing on the map in that area has been drained and turned to farm land. Maps for this area are extremely outdated and inaccurate, thats why I said sitting on a computer looking at maps trying to give advice was pointless. There are of course ditches in that area, but thats it.

Pretty much everyone feels that she will be found in water given that the area he was found is littered with waterways

sorry, it is just that you are a ittle out of touch with the manner in which many people are having to live nowadays. They are not obsessive or neurotic, they are just poor and every dollar and every gallon of gas means something .. such as if they make it to the end of the month. This family by all appearances is in such a predicament. I am sure that Mrs. Cornell could be quite helpful with the information of how much gas he used and how much money he spent that night.
Sorry,I'D say you are the one a little "out of touch" and,you may not be a man,but you sure sound like one as well as out of touch.
This was more than likely a woman who lived in fear of the man she had married because he turned into a totally different creature. How many "normal" acting and thinking women do you know that would allow some STEP dad to become very posessive/obsessive with their 14 year old daughter, and, hang around to watch that kind of crap unfold into what it has?
Woman who are abused, either physically, mentally, emotionall y,or verbally, don't go snooping into their husband's (what HE calls) BUSINESS and find out how much cash he's spent or how much gas he used.It usually nets them a smack across the face,at least.
Wake up,and,GET REAL,buddy.you apparently don't know much about human dynamics in relationships such as these.Anyone living with someone evil enough to take a 14 yr old and do something to them,is scared S***less of them in the first place, besides, did you get a look at that guy's photograph? He was nuts.At this point,I'm afraid how much gas he used/cash he had on him is a mote point.nice try, though.

I have helped search for a missing person here in West Tn for almost two years. I'm on a search and rescue team, my teammates and I are wanting to come help search but don't want to drive 4 hours to be told to turn around. Are volunteers forsure allowed to help? If not, they need to be soon. The more people, the more area that can be cleared faster. My heart goes out to the family, I'm praying for a good outcome. There is always hope.

Got cha. Well hopefully they will search all areas. This is really just such a horrible situation and I really do hope by some miracle she turns out to be safe and alive! The stepdad killing himself just makes this whole situation feel like its going to have a negative conclusion.

Blame the mother, BLAME the mother, BLAME THE MOTHER! Why don't you blame the grandmother that gave birth to his mother for all the hell it would matter. The TRUTH is you morons, that ANYONE is fully capable of ANYTHING. The only person who needs to be blamed is the culprit of the crime. You do not know this women, you do not know her circumstances, and you sure the fuck don't know what the hell you are talking about. Expect anything from anyone because even the devil was an angel once. I am not saying her mother didn't have some blame I am just saying it doesnt matter now and all you people are doing is adding fuel to idiot fire. Get off your asses and help find her or shut the fuck up. Trying to get what little insite into thier lives that you can while not knowing any of them personally is disgusting and stupid and does nothing to help this child. Stop the speculation save that for the hard working men and women in uniform who are out there trying to bring closure to this tragedy.

No. She isn't at the police station. County roads near 438 should be a good starting place
