Actually, no. My husband does not work for the WRPD. But keep on guessing. I am also a citizen of WR, and as a tax paying, law abiding citizen, I resent your accusation that (again lumping them ALL together) the officers harass teenagers. I AM a mother, and I would appreciate the phone call from the PD saying they had picked my son up for something, rather than the phone call saying my son was dead from an overdose or in an accident because of drugs or alcohol. And then when I gladly went to pick my son up, the true punishment would begin at HOME. Too many people look for others to be the parent, whether its teachers, preachers, or law enforcement. How about parents being parents and not relying on others to do their jobs.<quoted text>I'm guessing wife is a wife of one of wrpd's finest. And has her opinion of what her hubby does. But as a citizen of walnut ridge I think they spend more time herrassing teenagers than they do looking for a missing one. It's not just walnut ridge. It's becoming far to comin in small town pd's. kids are easy targets for dumb cops. The real cops are going for big fish and not a tadpole out being young kids. They would rather mess a young persons life up(in the name of prevention)as to going out and doing the work to catch real criminals.
That being said, I pray for this young girl to be found. My husband and I have spent many hours trying to help in any way we could.
