trust me...you dont want to buy a vechicle from cavenaugh ford. i bought one for my daughter in may of 2008 and it was a piece of crap had it in the shop many times...tried to trade it back to them and they wont even try within the first 3 months of having it...hence they new it was a piece of crap when they sold it to me. now i owe $16,000 on a car that might blow up tomorrow and cant get rid of it. tried to trade if off and cant get but $10,000 out of it now. they dont stand behind the vechiles they sell...not only did i have a problem with cavenaugh...i have problems with the salesman that sold me the car.....dont deal with them

Bought a new vehicle from Cavenaugh's and I can tell you that they won't honor some things under the 100,000 mile warranty. It's all a joke. Had a major problem and after proving that all required maintenance and oil changes had been done, still wouldn't honor it as a few oil changes were done at outside places. Hyundai wouldn't back it either. My advice is to run away from any dealings with Cavenaugh's.
they should

you guys had more luck than I did, when I tried to inquire about a car I had seen on their webite over the phone, the salesman was very rude and nobody ever called me back. So...I went and bought my vehicle somewhere else, a place that said heck yeah, we will take your 16000.00!!!! lol

Don't go there. I know two people who were totally screwed over there. One of them had his identity stolen when an employee used info from his credit report and ran up bills on his credit cards.

I have bought 8 vehicles from Cavenaugh. I have never had trouble with them. Thay have delt with me in a friendly manner, and I never paid the sticker price. They have always paid my sales tax, and on my last purchase knocked off 5,000 and threw in a new set of tires. I have not had the opportunity to use the shop in jonesboro, but before they closed the one in Black Rock Glen Blackburn worked on an electircal Short for me. My warranty expired 400 miles earlier, but they still honored it.

Salesmen are just that. That is there job, if you are not happy with them ask for another. If you buy a lemon, there are lemon laws in Arkansas. Any one purchasing a new or used car should have it checked out. Also there are several websites that will run a vin number and tell you what you want to know.

Baltz is a really good guy. I have known him from Kindergarden. He looked for three years for my Dads truck, when he finally found it in North Dakota had it shipped to Black Rock at no charge.
I will continue to do all my business with him and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Had an occasion to visit a the KIA dealership in Jonesboro not too long ago. We were looking for oil for our Santa Fe. Both vehicles use the same type oil. It was near closing time and the shop manager was rude and his attitude appeared to be that he would rather be anywhere else at that particular moment than talking to a customer. We did not buy the case of oil from him, we went to the Santa Fe dealer. Now we are looking to possibly trade in our Santa Fe, KIA appears to have some good deals in the newspaper this week, but because of the salesman's attitude,my husband will not shop there. Maybe we can find a dealer in another town. Just my ramlin thoughts, but maybe if they were a little nicer to customers, they might have more of them!!
