The UPRR representatives work diligently to educate their employees on safety while working on a multi ton machine such as a locomotive. I'm most positive all involved need prayer and support; from the employees and families of UPRR to the employees and families of the help crew (law, medical, clean up) etc.

So we can expect cancer rates in the town to go up now. Notice how no one has disclosed the chemical spilled?

Instead of jumping the gun as far as tainted water, why not send a prayer or a word of condolences. It's bad to work a train wreck an have a dead crewmember in the mix of steel an debris.
My prayers go to those families

Did this train run on diesel and natural gas combined? The black smoke is gone, but you can still see a tall clear flame.
If the train does run on natural gas, do they have to wait until all the natural gas burns or do they have a way to stop the flame?

It was alcohol and diesel, you should really stop complaining and start praying for the employees and families involved. It's the right thing to do.

What a sad day it has been for the families of those who were killed and injured on the trains. I send my condolences to all those affected. To our hard working officers, medics & the clean-up crews-God Bless each of you.

Couldn't have said it any better myself. Praying for the families of those who lost their loved ones today. A big thank you goes to all those who worked so hard getting us up and out of harms way.

Blessed and Loved is an idiot. She's been all sorts of names, reprimanding anyone she can with her superior words and self righteous crap.
She should spend more time praying about this tragedy...and show to control her yapping words of love and condemnation! Maybe she will will get a message from above that prayer and topix don't really jive.
Go find your prayer closet B and L.

This only helps the case for implementing PTC. We both know exactly why this crash happened.

PTC was developed to increase safety and efficiency. Going to one man crews will negate the safety improvements in a lot of areas. PTC should be implemented, but one man crews should not.
