Personally I think the pageant tonight was rigged! The winner had an ok talent, horrible evening gown, and a horriffic answer to her on stage question. I mean come on what were the judges thinking??? Surely somebody out there feels the same as me?

I agree with audience member, that pageant had to have been rigged. The girl who won the pageant's mom was the one who put it on. I understand the daughter wanted to participate but her mother should not have been walking back and forth talking to the judges throughout the entire pageant. Personally I thought the little girl who got second runner up should have won. She looked beautiful, had a perfect and honest answer to her question and her talent entertained me more than any other I saw.

I was just putting my opinion out there and obviously I'm not the only one that thought the same. I'm not saying this out of jealousy because I could careless. I didn't even know any of the girls in the pageant. I honestly think that the little girl that got 1st runner up (Ashley) or the little girl who sung her heart out (Taylor) should have one. Scout had a beautiful dress I've got to say and she looked really pretty. I used to participate and won a lot of pageants when I was younger. Every judge looks for something different so I'm not saying I'm right about anything but come on..........it was rigged for sure! It was kinda obvious.

I think that 2nd runner up was the best up there. She had the best dress best talent best everythig. I remember last year in junior miss.bobcat she looks so different.

i agree with audience member about the girl who sang her heart out, she did a wonderful job. for one she had to go first which made it hard im sure, and for two, unlike everyone else who sang a country song which anyone could, she let her true colors shine with a very vocally challenging song. and as for the girl who won talent out of the girls who did a dance, i thought she was by far the best.. i honestly believe she out performed the girl who claimed to be professional.

Let me first start out by saying thank you for all the wonderful things some people have said about my daughter (Ashley). AKA 1st runner up! We are very proud of her she has worked very hard for it along with her dance teacher Holly Gill from Studio dance in WR! But as for the pageant being rigged I don't feel like it was. Carrie (the winner) Had a higher interveiw score then Ashley. As I have seen the scores and they were very close. We are very proud of Carrie and wish everyone could just let her have her BIG WIN! Ashley won the taleant and we still have 3 more years to shine. Carrie we are so proud of you!

I think the 1st runner up should have won and the 2nd runner up should have gotten 1st and the winner should have recived 2nd my self. The first runner up and 2nd walked better, had beatuful dresses on and a much better taleant. Also they nailed there question where the winner rambled on. Yes I think it was very rigged! And the top 6 was a joke.

I am sure all the girls worked hard for Miss Bobcat. I was not there but know how much work goes into competions. Everyone just needs to be happy for the winner. She is a very sweet girl and will do well in life with or without her win. Some times we don't always pick the winner in our eyes that is what makes us human. It takes a lot of guts to even be able to get up there. If you wanna talk about it try it sometime! Anyway great job to all the girls.

I have done it before actually several. And I have won alot too. Like I said previously, judges look for different things and you never know what they're looking for but come on?!? Giving her performance compared to the others she should not have won. Even if she killed in her interview, she couldn't have scored that high in the other areas in order to win overall. I still believe it was rigged and it was a little odd that her mother kept going back and forth to the judges table. Also since she was the one who put the pageant on wouldn't she have been the one to find the judges?????? I remember when the Moores' used to put the pageant on and they used to remain backstage and didn't bother the judges and especially didn't converse with them every ten minutes like what went on this year..... See I don't guess anyone thinks about things like this huh????

Well it is as you think it was rigged, well only if you think that a person on a teachers salary can afford bribe money,I DONT THINK SO!!!! All of you that are gripen, grawlin and just generaly bithching about it,well next year step up and put this thing on yourselvs..........
You see I know all theese girls very well and I feel that if you just wear their shoes for one day you would not feel this way.

As a parent in the seats during this years Miss Bobcat I can assure you it wasn't rigged. Mrs. Massey was picking up scores from judges and delivering them to Mrs. Smith on the computer. That's why she was at judges table. Did you notice that these girls only gave their first name and number? Its been that way for years. Neither she or the judges knew who had won till Jonathan announced it. I believe I heard Angie Jones got judges and Mrs. Massey didn't know them or meet them till interviews. They also didn't know she had a kid in it. Also I have seen some of the scores over the last couple of days that some of the girls got. Yes the Massey girl killed the interview, I mean smoked the field. Her talent was good really nice skit with singing and dance. Evening gown was stunning . Top 6 question she gave a well though out answer over 30 seconds. Also got Miss photogenic.Roacho did OK in interview. Her dance routine was great and it won her the talent award. Her dress was beautiful. Top six answer good about 10 seconds. Davis girl fair in interview. Her dance routine was great. Her evening wear was wonderful. Top six answer was good but only a few words, less than 5 seconds. Scout was also Peoples Choice award winner. Johnson girl I haven't seen her scores on interview I can only tell what the other girls said and that she blew it something about her lip stud and answers. Talent was great. Her evening gown didn't look like it fit her well but she looked nice. Top 6 answer was less than 5 seconds.
Listen you obviously don't know Mrs. Massey or her family or you wouldn't accuse her of rigging the pageant. This family goes all out for this school and community be it academic, sports, clubs etc. I'm proud to have Carrie Massey as Miss Bobcat 2009 representing my community. Congrats out to Carrie and her family on you r "Big Win"

To those of you who need to get a life and quit worrying about matters such as these: it takes a lot of work to coordinate an event such as this and I am thankful we have people in our community willing to give of their time and effort. So, if you didn't take part, assist, or whatever, please stop bashing those who did. I'm sure all the girls gave it their best shot. Let's remember what is important and if you don't know what that is then check your priority list and hopefully the Miss Bobcat Pageant won't be at the top.
