Parks want students for conservation jobs

Students ages 16 to 24 wanting hands-on conservation experience can apply for jobs in the state's parks and natural areas this June and July.

I have a good friend who's is looking into this. I am so proud of him for wanting to take part in this opportunity.

And yes Pickett State Park is beautiful, my family and I spend alot of time there.

I understand.Some of the teens were talking on another thread about nothing to do and no jobs.This would be great for them.I'm glad to hear about it.Teens,please check it out.If I was a teen again,I would..

Go to the website http://www.state.tn.us/environment/tycc/ and fill out the Pre-application. If you get an email from one of the people over it you will then have to fill out an application and mail it to them. Good luck! I already filled on out. Hopefully I hear something soon.

The tycc at pickett state park is Cancelled to the state budget.

...better check into who these parks really are...I hear they are the United Nations fascist taking over all U.S. parks and if they don't pay well $25+ per hour then let then do thier own nasty work which is all they have for the students...trust me I been there...you don't want to do this...they just want slave labors...DON'T DO IT!!!

I called about these jobs and was told that you have to be 18 years old in order to get hired on.
