Well what we've been saying for several years. Lack of coaching a depth of players has come to roost with walnut football. When u rely on a few and don't play as many as possible when you can this is what happens. 40-7!!!

When you play 5 or 6 freshman and even older ones who have never played what more can you expect, it's not the boys it's the coaching!

good lord, EVERYONE should have got to play last night. The cheerleaders should have seen playing time last night. But probably not everyone did. That is the very reason they are in the shape they are now! Winning by 40 or losing by 40, no subs. That's just stupid!!

That's just an easy answer. I would be great if the only problem is disgruntled parents but the fact is there's so much more to it. It took a few years to get in this shape. May be the coaches will see their problem and try to change. Probably not but one can hope

They are inept coaches!!! They should have been subing for the last few years and should have subed Thursday. They were getting their brains beat out and they wouldn't put anyone else in. If you don't let other members on the team then when do you substitute. I wish they could hear what is being said in the stands. They may beat middleton! Can anyone give an answer as to why he can't play more players and why can he not teach the few he does play!!!

So you're stupid!!! Maybe the sr didn't want to come off the field!! I guess they wanted to lose! Lol. Ok. And may be "so so" wants to try to be quarterback a game or two!!! Or may be someone else wants to do something else. That's the way to play the game. Lol You play who can win. And when you are winning or losing by a landslide you sub other players. And there are other player that are as good or better than some playing and there are some decent players that need to be in other positions. They made stupid mistakes. They know no plays. It's obvious to everyone they aren't coached. They aren't disciplined. It's not the boys fault. Did you watch close. They are unhappy and somewhat clueless. It's the coaching. And it's not all Meeks fault. He learned the style and attitude from Moore. This "team" had been coming for quite awhile. Can you believe that with a score like that some of those boys didn't get to play. Crazy, stupid, coaching!

I do not have a relative playing thank goodness or I'd be really going crazy!!! Look, some kids are much better than others and some kids shouldnt play much at all. And of course there are games that are too close for anyone but a few, but there are also game that everyone could get a little playing time and experience. And if the coaches are too stupid or short sighted to see that then they have no business coaching.

I agree with you 100% and for the people trash talking get you boy I'm the weight room and maybe he'll get some PT next year. On that field they are out there for one reason and one reason only and that is to win. If you don't like the way walnut is coached take your kid off the team or better yet move them to a different school and let's see if they get to play more there. But when they don't we will see you on here crying again about how your star athlete child only gets to play on the sidelines. And to all the kids on the side lines with hard work and dedication you can be on the field but fussing about it is not gonna get you there. Great job Coach Meeks

Idk, Middleton played falkner 2 TDs closer than we did. We may not even beat them.
Looks like the well has run dry on athletes.

it's not the athletes. Sure they're young and smaller but they need to be coached. The coaches haven't been coaching in so long they don't know how. In the past they just let a few super stars do it all. Now they have to use plays. They will have to figure out how to use people to their advantage. And BTW they'll have to figure out that the Huffman kid just isn't all that great.

no need to get so upset. Just stating facts and options. Everyone in the stands have one and more fans agree with me than you obvious think. You must be a parent of a player or a relative of the coach.
Coaching can only get u so far. Even the best coaches couldn't win without good players. Do u think Bear Bryant could turn this team into a championship contender? No way
Your right to a degree. I does take both but coaching is where it starts. Notice the good coaches. No matter where they go they develope a good program.
