I heard it closed because the Drs don't want to come to walnut. I think if they expect or ask citizens of Walnut to use Magnolia, the least they can do is have a doctor come to Walnut a few days a week!

Why did they even put a clinic here if they're not going to staff it. It's like a slap in our face. Everyone does need to call!

I will. I bet he won't be in his office Monday. But I will call until I speak to him. What about the mayor? Who owns the building? Can't they call too? Do they know anything?

Alcorn County and the City of Corinth owns MRHC building.Napper is the one who made the decision to open and the decision to close it.

My daughter went there...Napper did not renew Dr Evans contract(she by the way was an excellent DR) she was board certified in several areas and had been a Dr for several years...He did not renew her contract and hired 2 new dr's rt out of school to work @ the new Corinth womens center..within a month or so they lost a full term baby, my daughter had to get a new dr and ended up having a lapse in care which almost cost her life and did cost the baby his... But Napper doesn't care about anything but $

His decision to replace dr evans with 2 new Drs was solely based on money, he could pay them less because they were less experienced...just to clarify, they were always going to hire @ least one new dr to work @ the new corinth clinic, so no they didn't get 2 drs for the cost of 1, they basically replaced a highly experienced dr with a brand new graduate to save money and it cost my grandsons life

I sent a letter when I found out they were not renewing her contract begging them to allow her to see my daughter through...no reply...then after what happened I informed them and expressed my feelings that it was due to my daughters lapse in care, and still no reply

I don't trust magnolia anyway. If they don't care about walnut then way does anyone from walnut go there. Go to Ripley, new Albany or mphs!! Way don't one of those hospitals rent the building
