My thoughts and prayers are with the Hernandez family at this time. Rest in Peace, George!
When Tomorrow Starts Without Me
When tomorrow starts without me, And I'm not there to see; If the sun should rise and find your eyes All filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry The way you did today, While thinking of the many things, We didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me, As much as I love you, And each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me, Please try to understand, That an angel came and called my name, And took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready, In heaven far above, And that I'd have to leave behind All those I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away, A tear fell from my eye, For all my life, I'd always thought, I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for, So much yet to do, It seemed almost impossible, That I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays, The good ones and the bad, I thought of all the love we shared, And all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday, Just even for awhile, I'd say goodbye and kiss you And maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized, That this could never be, For emptiness and memories, Would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things, I might miss come tomorrow, I thought of you, and when I did, My heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through heaven's gates, I felt so much at home. When God looked down and smiled at me, From His great golden throne,
He said "This is eternity, And all I've promised you." Today for life on earth is past, But here it starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow, But today will always last, And since each day's the same day There's no longing for the past.
But you have been so faithful, So trusting and so true. Thought there were times you did some things, You knew you shouldn't do.
But you have been forgiven And now at last you're free. So won't you take my hand And share my life with me?
So when tomorrow starts without me, Don't think we're far apart, For every time you think of me, I'm right here, in your heart.

First of all this was an ACCIDENT. My gf is not from the area and was looking for an auto mechanic in the area. She was not speeding and in no way what so ever meant to harm the people in the ACCIDENT. It is an ACCIDENT and not a PURPOSE. Furthermore she is a nursing student at PUC to SAVE LIVES. I am from the area and know about the irregularity of that particular signal. Similar to the one over by the 6 Flags. I am in no way defending her actions because they were unintentional and she and many of her family is going to be affected. She is traumatized from this incident. From the information I recieved she was not speeding and the first thing th woman said was "He is having a heart attack" Please be considerate of all the friends and families of the ACCIDENT. My thoughts and prayers go out to the grieving family but understand that many lives have been impacted from this incident. Yes she has a licence, insurance, current registration, clean record and nursing student. She is a real person too.... and lost her father young from a heart attack. She is severly grieving the loss of the beloved man.

As the judge will tell her, "Ignorance is no excuse for the law!"

It seems not looking both ways before entering a intersection, while not against the law, is an ignorant thing to do also. This was a freak accident. That intersection has many horrible accidents. No speeding, no dui, no talking on the cell phone. Doesnt seem like any charges should be filed at all. The sad part is if he had not had heart surgery he would still be alive.

My thoughts and prayers to all involved. I agree this was an accident. The young lady who caused this accident will undoubtedly re-live this terrible event the rest of her life, "punishing herself". As others said, she was not speeding and this was not a case of a DUI, talking on cell phone, etc. For those of you who feel she should be punished, have you never done something that you prayed to be forgiven? Punishing this person, will not bring back the life that was lost. Had the man not had the history of the heart problem, he might not have died. The entire circumstances led to his death. Again, thoughts and prayers to all involved.

I realize that this was a terrible accident, and I pray for everyone involved. To say that "Had the man not had the history of the heart problem, he might not have died. How about this "Had the woman not ran a red light, had the woman been paying attention, if the woman knew where she was going, he might not have died!" Rest in Peace George!

If the LAW is not respected and this woman is not punished to the FULL EXTENT then she will have yet to learn that there are CONSEQUENCES to our actions. We've all run a light or two and maybe got away with it, so let this womans bad decision be a free lesson; take a chance and maybe it will be YOU next time. Who gives a spit if she is a "nursing" student; her lack of driving skill and judgement killed this man; don't blame the "intersection", the truck or the dead man, it's HER FAULT.

Accidents happen Wang. Your assuming she knowingly ran a red light to save time like you admitted to having done numerous times. Doesnt mean she was trying to get away with anything dosent even mean she made a conscious decision to go through the light. Unless you can prove she malisciously ran that light with blatant disregard for human life then it was just an accident. And when the DA doesnt file charges you shouldnt be suprised.
