"Myself I know how too use a gun but,I don't want one in my house."

Do you have a fire extinguisher, and house insurance?
There are two kinds of 'life insurance': The kind which pays someone else money once you're dead, and the kind which tends to keep you alive so that the money stays around.
You seem to put lots of faith in an electronic device which could fail at any time, leaving you to wonder how you'll fair when push comes to shove.
And phone systems DO go down, a possibility which you might consider. If you have no gun in your house, and you can't contact 911, what will you do?
When seconds count, the cops are several minutes away, and sometime they don't bother to show up at all, because they don't really have to. The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled as much at least once.
So, you were saying?

I just came from Antioch Armory. Purchased myself some Hornady Critical Defense hollow points for these F'n monday's. Some 00 buckshot as well.

Oh, I have an alarm too but in my neighborhood, you will hear a home alarm go off twice a day. Loud blaring sirens don't scare off Mondays. They are used to it. Ever hear their jungle music thumping in their piece of crap cars? They love jungle music and are used to police sirens. Alarms won't do a damn thing. Besides, your hom alarm going off is the lowest priority for APD.

I bet these mondays won't like the sound of my shotgun going off in their face. That should scare their buddies away from my place.

AGREED! As previously stated in another article regarding APD the AVERAGE response time for APD is 12 minutes. If someone is good enough, they can be in/out and disappear and kill you in that 12 minutes. As much as I love my city, it needs some MAJOR improvements.
I know how to use a gun and you bet your a** I'm not afraid to use it.

Remington 870 is also understood by that breed of creature. The ChaChunkCHUNK sound is usually followed by the exclamation of "MUTHAFUPPA" & rapid sneaker tracks running away. If done properly it can even result in the disposal of a set of soiled boxers.
