What's the point of owning historic property if you aren't going to care for it? Sell it to someone who will!

That building will never be torn Down. Sharon Conaway is in Marianne DeHart's pocket, and she won't let anything happen with that building unless Marianne agrees to it being torn down.

Don;t forget, as soon as Sharon was elected in 2009, she led the effort to stop action with the old dentist office and return it to Marianne too.

Wow...I knew the Dehart's were well known, but didn't know they were above the law. The facts are that all persons who own the property were served with the condemned notice according to NC statute 40A-7. So, more than likely a hearing will be held concerning the property and it's future. What a shame to have such a historic building on Main St. Walnut Cove to be allowed to be portrayed in such a state today. A petition can be organized to save the building and a non-profit organization can be organized to either raise the funds for restoration or submit for public grants. Such a waste !!!
