I find it interesting that the Trib stated that the persons involved were hispanic in the 9:07AM article and when reposting the article at 10:33AM there is no mention of ethnicity.

How dumb. Now the cousin, I mean the attempted murderer is dead because of "what he had to do to the so called victim".

The family is probably worse off now than before. Now this family has to plan for a funeral and then probably pay medical expenses...oh wait, the tax payers will probably have to pay.

At least money won't be wasted on a trial.
Everyone take care!

They probably realized that it was not politically correct, and changed it. Typical of the liberal media.

What is it with you people? You don't even know these people yet you feel the need to make negative and ignominious comments on a personal level? I just don't get it.

The deputy did what he had to do in that situation, a real cop would shake it off and go back to doing his job.

yup just part of the hazards of the job...everyone who "signs on the dotted line" knows one day they may have to take a life and will have to live with it...just like the military..one day you just may have to take the life of an enemy...and also, they may have to give the ultimate sacrifice and loose their lives as well.

Thats enough with the battering of this entire senerio. What kind of people try to put more hurt by their choice of words used on these comments .Everyone is entitled to their opinions but remember words can hurt. This family has been through enough and to have to argue with all you negative people making very ugly statments. Is just harsh .Were are all human and its shouldnt be funny when a death occurs no matter what led up to it.so please get it together and stop making unwise and immature comments to this family
