I hope you enjoyed your life. Life will never be the same. Your company, your humor, your spontaneous anecdotes, your character, your love, your concern, your support, your enthusiasm/zeal towards life,...You! Chris will greatly be missed. I will ensure your memory/sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Chris, RIP. We'll miss you forever. we'll keep your memory alive. we appreciate the senseless act you did. you will always be our bro! life will never be the same. All over a "zaassss" and a misunderstanding. it's time to grow up and realize life can take unexpected turns. let's try to avoid the negative outcomes before they persist. wisdom, knowledge, virtue,... let's keep all those in mind everytime we take a step outside our circle of normality. Don't go looking for trouble, it might bite you in the ass. or, if trouble finds you, it's best to just walk away then on a stretcher. Don't even try to stop any confrontations. Generally it's the innocent victim who get's the "bad end of the stick". Consider every alternative. Expect the worst. Avoid any/every confrontations. It's not being pesimistic, it's being wise & smart.

I don't know the person whos life should not have been taken, but I can tell you that I am pissed off. Under no circumstance should this person have been shot.

Someone please have the courage to see this through and make sure that his killer is brought to justice. You know of this was an off duty LAPD officer that commited this crime (YES I SAID CRIME!), they find ways to 'get them off the hook'. Don't let this happen, make this son of a bitch pay for taking this mans life senslessly. Please. Justive must prevail- don't go silently and please update us here on the site. perhaps call it www.justiceforchris.com . There are other places you can take this story online to get a lot of attention.

Before you shoot your mouth off u should get your facts straight. He is NOT an LAPD officer!!!!! not even close. Next time use spell check. I'm not saying this guy should get away with what happened, yes he did pull the trigger and chris did lose his life. And yes he will be punished for what he did.But if you weren't there or have nothing to to with this story, keep your mouth shut. But since we live in a country where you can say whatever you feel like atleast take the time to get the facts. And make educated and well informed comments. And that pretty much goes to the rest of you. my heart goes out to both of the families.

After all that is happend I cant believe your still here pointing fingers at people for something they said. If you read through this blog you will see that someone else wrote that the guys or guy who shot him was an off duty LAPD. He is just going by what was posted. Why get upset and point fingers and fight with people over soemhting so dumb. Since you were there why dont you enlighten us on what happend? That way everyone will know and wont assume. The guy is from Arizona and is concerened, why get all upset. You should be happy that people are going through great lengths to find out what really happend that night. And no i did not use spell check. I am not here to please you, im here to send my condolences to his family, friends, and to those that new the good person that he was. May God rest his soul.RIP Chris!!!

Noone's pointing fingers and I am not all upset. But thats my point, people can sit and write their thoughts by what other people are saying.I simply said people should get the facts before saying anything. My comment wasn't directed to one person it is 4 all thecomments that are being said. People are going to say and believe what they want regaurding what happened that night . So for me to sit her and say anything is POINTLESS. The true story will come out when the time comes. I'm not trying in any way to defend the suspect nor am I am I forgetting the VICTIM. No matter what the situation was that didn't need to happen. Nothing is worth a young life. Didn't know Chris but I'm sure to all who did, he will never be forgotten!

Okay, here is what I have heard. The guy that shot Chris and his friend was a security guard that said he was LAPD. Evidently he thought he was going to intimidate everyone by showing his gun and yelling LAPD. Then he just started shooting. Unfortunately, Chris got shot and killed by some idiot who is now in jail, and hopefully will be for the rest of his sorry life! TGIF did not do their job in protecting their customers. They should have diffused the situation in the restaurant by calling security and having each group escorted out seperately. By telling them to take it outside, they basically encouraged them to fight. Not to mention, when you serve alchol to minors, you are asking for trouble!
This whole terrible trajedy could have been avoided if someone had done their job at TGIF.
I am sure that this will be looked into, and it doesn't look good for TGIF.
All I know for sure is that a wonderful, kind young man was killed for no reason. Everyone else is left to grieve. I only hope that other young people will learn from this and just walk away when stupid people can't keep their mouths shut. It is not worth it.

i may not have known chris buh i kno someone close to him. it breaks my heart to kno someone so young could be taken in such a violent way. my prayers go out to him and his family and friends. what happened was senseless n unnecessary. dat BOY is now a murderer n he must live with what he's done. but its not enough punishment. he knew what he was doen n deserves to feel the wrath of his actions. obviously chris was much loved and he is so lucky to have that. god bless them all.

The weekend of the services was supposed to be the weekend that Chris was supposed to go to Arizona and play baseball. The Newport Storm have dedicated their play in memory of Chris. I played ball with Chris and partied with him, and hung out on numerous occasions, and it just sucks that such a mellow guy was taken away from everyone. I hope that he's throwing perfect games in heaven.
As Chris would say, "Good times!"

Mr. Glendora,

As the other person on this board stated, I was just going by what I heard here and IF (do you understand IF?) it was LAPD or anyone else for that matter they should pay. Period. That was my point. Interesting how you bash and question others, but hold the 'grand truth' to yourself. Try relaxing with some tea and a book, it will calm you down and make you more rational.

RIP Chris

THERE ARE ONLY ABOUT 5 PEOPLE THAT ACTUALY KNOW THE DETAILS OF EACH MOMENT FROM INSIDE THE RESTAURANT, TO LEAVING, TIL THE MOMENT TWO OF THE HOMIES WERE SHOT. IMPERSANATING AN OFFICER IS A FELONY BY LAW. I HEARD THAT THE STATE IS TRYING TO MAKE THIS GUY LOOK LIKE A HERO. THATS BULLSHIT. THE MORE SUPPORT WE GET IN THE COURTROOM FROM FAMILY AND FRIENDS, THE MORE THE JUDGE AND JURY IS GOING TO LOOK TO ROAST THIS GUY. I'LL BE OUT SOON.
