Greene Township is holding trick or treat night Monday, October 31 - like it should be.
I'll be handing out mini-bottles of booze in protest of the township's dry status. Besides, a little nip of Jack Daniels or Captain Morgan is probably better for the kiddos than candy corn and those awful circus peanut things.
What neighborhood should I be in for those treats?

Agree all around circus peanuts are made of the devil. I have no control around those creme pumpkins though.(Mallow creme? Little hard candy corn-like pumpkins --- you can feel your teeth start to rot when you look at them.)

Took "halloween" there's advice and decided to keep my porch light off and drink 'em myself. These kids get enough hand-outs.

For me, the undisputed king and queen of halloween candy are, and will always be, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Kit Kat. Everything else is expendable.

A lot of the regular posters on here are liberal terrorists. Mr Government, getting up and going to work in the morning sucks. Give me handouts!

Candy for the kiddies and vodka-jello shots for the adult "zombie hordes".

Dear Trick-or-Treaters,

Please do not come to my humble abode expecting sugary treats if you're old enough to drive or vote - unless of course, you're holding your offspring in your arms, or leading them by the hand.

Yes...I said it here, and next year I'll say it to your greedy faces and embarass you publically.

Grown-azz adults (18+) have no business driving up to my house, putting their cigarettes out on my driveway, then waltzing up to my door with their hand out, expecting goodies - especially when you're not even costumed. Around here, we call folks like that "bums".

Get a freakin' hobby, one that doesn't include copping candy meant for children.

Oh, and by the way, to that one woman with two adorable little children who proceeded to cuss out my family because SHE was startled by our Halloween display, please...next year, send the kiddies up the walk-way and leave yourself and your foul mouth at the gate. While you proceeded to show your butt in front of the neighborhood children and then yank your little ones away from the "scary" people, your offspring were looking longingly at the Hershey & Kit Kat bars in my outstretched hand. If our display looked too "scary" for your little ones, you should have passed on by like some of the more responsible parents.

Remember, YOU screamed and jumped while your little goblins simply smiled at our big goblins. The only time I saw your little goblins frightened is when you started shouting obscenities at our big goblins while physically yanking them, and your startled and obviously embarassed husband down the walkway and back to your little white car.

To all the other Trick-or-Treat visitors (under the age of 18), THANK YOU...while we treated you to candy and a small scare, you treated us to another night of laughter.

See you next year - and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Anddddd.... this is why the porch light stays off at my house. Halloween for me is a cold beer and a quiet evening, candy and child free. Ah, the good life.

With widespread reports of Trick or Treat fraud, it's time for a state-wide Goblin Photo ID law.
