For a better idea that has worked elsewhere and allows voters to "district" themselves, check out the more competitive and representative gerrymander-proof proportional representation electoral systems discussed at FairVote: The Center for Voting and Democracy.

DemSymps and RepSymps in the mainstream media don't want you to know about these more democratic alternatives.

This article inaccurately paints Fair Boundaries as a partisan issue. While it's true that the redistricting process was abused by the current Republican legislative super-majority in 2001, Democrats have done the same when they've had the chance.
It's not a partisan issue. The system needs reform. Fair Boundaries is about creating a better system, and sending a message to the legislature that we, the voters they were elected to represent, care about fair representation for our communities.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Sagittarius

Once again, your nerves are getting the better of you. There will be some fraught moments unless you can control your temper and not get drawn into verbal fisticuffs at the drop of a paper hat. It won't help if a partner is feeling neglected as that will give you something else to worry about. You need to relax and start enjoying yourself!
