This is what you teabaggers should be protesting - when a Republican Executive gives cash or big tax breaks to a corporation, which they take from *your taxes*!

Your a nut! Exactly what "times" are we in. Screw your paranoia, the money went towards saving jobs, feeding families, paying mortgages, keeping healthcare.

They've already cut postions. So does this mean they're going to rehire who they had to let go at they're old paying rate or are they going to hire new people at minimum wage?

Lets work on getting Pepsi Bottling into danbury. Would be a great corp. resident to have. many jobs, taxes, a solid company and would fill up some of the much empty office space.

"when a Republican Executive gives cash or big tax breaks to a corporation."

In other words...

"Let me explain to you how this works: you see, the corporations finance Team America, and then Team America goes out... and the corporations sit there in their... in their corporation buildings, and... and, and see, they're all corporation-y... and they make money." - Tim Robbins, Team America World Police

Dont say never. Purchase may lose pepsico someday to Texas. Tax breaks and icnentives always attractive in this economy.Only 15 mins from Somers. Housing and taxes less in Ct. Consider also that many Pepsi execs and managers live in CT. never say never

"Tax breaks and icnentives always attractive in this economy."

While i agree with this statement to a point, there needs to be a balance and a limit. incentives, tax breaks; corporate welfare.

economics 101: don't give millionaires millions.

Seeing as they are already laid off a bunch of guys I would bet they are not looking to expand at all. They just needed the money. I am sure the government is not going to check and see where exactly the three million dollar loan is going. I would rather see the government lower taxes across the board to attract and keep business than play GOD and pick the winners at $3000000 / 19 = $157894.73 per job.

barden will never move out of the united states because they will goverment accounts and will lose the label saying "MADE IN THE USA" so i highly doubt that but are we gonna see another "AIG" (vice president) peter enright talks a good game but never follows through with his promises he has a whole lot of supervisors getting paid top dollar and they don't even know their ass from their head theirs a whole lot of favortism going on over there a low paying employee has an idea and the idea works for the company to make more money who get increase in pay the supervisor that don't know a thing and it wasn't even his idea in the first place but he'll be quick to take the credit and the low paying employee gets lefted in the dust now is that rite????

their not going to call anybody back how they going to call people back if theirs no work and if they do call people back they going pick and choose who they want to come back basically if they like you they going to call you back if they don't don't expect for them to call you back cause you'll be waiting along time to many phony people there and don't expect to get the same pay rate either if they do call you back they already said no rasies for 3 years so what does that tell you
