Review: Wallingford Bowl

this place is bad - I would avoid it and go to Colony Lanes up the street. Their lanes are nicer and cleaner at Colony....

Actually, this is a great place-it's brand new, the bar is gorgeous, they do great parties, and the staff is friendly and nice. The lanes and all are brand new, what's not to like?

We went back just to make sure- again it was spotless, great staff and lots of fun. Highly recommend!

Seems to be some differing opinions on this place, so I will set the record straight. The place is not all brand new - the machine were used, and run poorly, the lanes were installed incorrectly and cause the bowling balls to bounce a lot, they still have the old ball returns from the TBowl days - these are the same ball returns that have had a safety recall made against them because they are very prone to injuries, and the seating in the bowlers area is also from the old TBowl days and haven't been cleaned in a LONG time!
