Has anyone ever been on probation and had to attend this shitty place. It's disgusting and the people there are rude and should all be taken out back and beaten.

I understand that I am on probation, which is my fault. I am not placing blame on anyone but myself for that. But why do they need to belittle you and treat you so bad? They don't even do there job right, when they actually are working and not trying to treat everyone like shit.

A kid infront of me last week was screaming that he tested and did so every day as told too. They said he had not and were firm in saying so. That is until the kid said he was going to let his P.O know about what was going on because he had proof. BAM!!! They found his paper work in record time. Disgusting humans work at JAMS!!! Nobody should be forced to go there.....

Anyone know of any better places to test?

I felt the same way as you, when I was on probation. I was on probation while I lived in Rochester. Thankfully a new testing place opened out there called Accutest. People were really nice and I think they were cheaper as well. You should look if they have a location in Walled Lake. I think they are new so they might not but certainly worth the look.

There is a place in Walled Lake called DNA.I belive it is located on Maple Rd. I know that 52-1 court in Novi has the address. By the way its a buck cheaper and a lot nicer people work there.

It's good that you take responsibility for your actions. I was on probation for 6 months with JAMS and found the treatment to be horrible, specially at the office located in Wixom, just off Wixom Road and P.Trail. I'm assuming that's the you're referring to. I was only there for the last month of testing. I had a much better experience at the one in Westland.

Much more professional staff... at least as professional as you can get for doing the job they do, if you know what I mean.

DNA is on Maple Road west of Decker on the south side directly across from the WL Fire Department in the State Farm Office building. Hours are 4 a m til 9 a m 7 days. Everyone there is very nice and will treat you with respect and dignity. When my ignition interlock failed there after testing Debbie was kind enough to lend me her cell phone and waited 15 minutes after closing so that I could contact SMARTSTART and disarm the unit. Check it out.

Feel you all! Got caught with a quarter joint and even have my medical marijuana card and have been on JAMS now for 9 months. I even had a spotless record! Best advice I could give to anyone is take it on the chin, don't try to beat the system, and most of all get a receipt when you leave that motherf**er place! Was there morning and night one time because I couldn't pee and they told my PO that I wasn't there. Luckily, I got one out of ten workers that was cool enough to go back and check the logs and give me a past receipt. Also...as a side note, do not believe in the medical marijuana cards, unless it is your family doc that is willing to come in and testify for you, you are going to get prosicuted! These cards have made the system ten times worse for the average smoker!

There is a new place in Holly called Journey Drug and Alcohol. The people that work there are nice and I don't feel like a dirt bag when I go in there. My po said I had missed a test and I know that I did'nt so I went back to Journey and the lady checked the paperwork and sure enough I was there, and the lady called my po and even faxed over the stuff for me.

This jams testing is a scam for money. If this ETG testing can go back 72 hrs to test for alcohol, then how can anything fool the test like adulterants. They don't test strip every sample there it is random. Guess what a adulterant can be too much water, to much high frutcose corn syrup, if you been around chemicals like cleaning supplies. so if this shows up u have to come back the next day and pay another 9 dollars. also why do you need to blow into a pbt when u r testing with ETG which can go back 72 hrs. IF ANYONE DID NOT KNOW THAT ABOUT ETG TESTING U KNOW NOW!!!

The ETG goes back 80 hours, not 72. Not a huge difference but sometimes those hours can make the diference if you pass or not. THANKS

They had me on JAMS for 2 years. I have been clean and sober for over 2 years, and I really have JAMS to thank for it.

I treated the JAMS employees with respect, and I was given respect in return.

Everyone who says it's a scam or a money making machine-- you're probably still smoking or drinking. For those of us who actually took probation and sentencing to heart-- JAMS helped me stay clean and sober.

You put yourself in the position.
You are the reason you're there.
