In this case, you appear to be correct. An appeal to the FAA will result in a favorable decision for Charlotte, as their former mayor, who is opposed to taking control of the airport from Charlotte, will be the person making the final decision.

Felonizing breast exposure, cutting out income tax on the rich and replacing that with sales tax on food, stealing airports, taking "contributions" from internet gambling interest, requiring back ground checks for dog owners--- republikans making government more intrusive and more corrupt.

To be honest, I thought you were fibbing about the dog owner thing.Until, I was informed by a local business owner that they wanted to send people to his house to investigate him, when he tried to adopt a dog.Considering this to be intrusive, he eschewed the adoption.

It would be better IF I were , but you just cannot make this stuff up that these republikan idiots are actually doing.. They were elected to create jobs but all they can do is write laws that try to enforce THEIR religion , destroy one of the nation's best educational systems, and give more tax breaks to the rich. Today's Charlotte Observer reports that the total of tax breaks, tax exemptions, subsidies and rebates to select groups amounts to over 1 BILLION dollars annually in North Carolina while working people are hit harder and harder each year for more and more money...

Now that Charlotte's mayor is being appointed transportation secretary, will Governor McCory and his republikan henchmen have to eat some humble pie on the airport question?
No. That just means Foxx will be able to cover his ass for funneling federal funds from the airport to Clt's local govt in order to pay for local projects because the Commucrats have bankrupted Clt as well as our state for the last 120+ years!
When McCrory takes the airport away, the truth about Foxx and the Commucrats will come out!
I'm sure that Foxx and the Ruler will find a way to blame the Republicans, it all they do!

Felonizing PUBLIC breast exposure, something innocent children shouldn't be exposed to, cutting income tax on ALL EMPLOYEES and replacing it with an increased sales tax, something EVERYONE pays regardless of whether or not they're employed, thus increase tax revenues, taking control of airports so local govts can't funnel federal monies away from there intended purpose and used for pet projects, no different than the Ruler taking contributions from shady organizations, politics 101, some people aren't responsible enough to be dog owners just as some people aren't responsible enough to be parents or gun owners; I'd say cleaning up the Commucrats mess!

Texas has managed to get along for a long time without a"breast law".Can't you understand? Making MORE LAWS is not the true republican way.Members of both parties are taking"shady"money like it's a religion. If the republicans can scrape up ANY decent candidate, they will get my vote in 2016.Pro, has your party ever done something you disapprove of?

Yes, increased sales tax on SOME and NOT on others and then reduced sales taxes on others like race car owners etc.. Nature intended innocent children to be exposed to breasts. That's how they get food as infants. Only a perverted republican would attach a sexual fetish to that part of the female anatomy to the extent that felonizing its exposure would seem even reasonable. Sickos!!!.

No, the transportation secretary does not "control" the funds for infrastructure like roads, sea ports and air ports.

This department of state government does

Not to worry....with the direction and speed the Dem's are moving on abortion and the day after pill there will be no infants left needing breast fed!

Isn't it true some democrats in washington are living by a double standard.

in regards to gun rights they say "the people's rights must be infringed, freedoms must be compromised to save innocent lives, even if its only one life"

In regards to abortion they say "the people's rights must not be infringed, freedoms must never be compromised, no matter how many lives are lost"

The Republican Party has done many things over the years that I don't agree with, that's why I'm a registered Independent. I do however support the Republican Party more often than not although I do support a couple local Democrats.

Race car owners provide tens of millions of dollars to the state annually, do they not deserve a break? I'd say they pay more than "their fair share." To the ones who've been living off of the taxpayers' backs for years, I'd say its about time they pay something!
Just another example of your party pushing their socialist agendas and lack of morals on everybody. Public nudity, as well as homosexuals, shouldn't be mainstream. If that's your thing, fine, but keep it behind closed doors, my children shouldn't be forcibly exposed to it! Lack of morals is the exact reason these stupid laws are passed!
Funny you play the nature card now but your party avoids this card when it comes to homos.
