The scene outside the prison shows a young woman holding a sign that reads, "Capital Punishment is Murder." I have to wonder why someone values the life of a person that rapes, brutalizes and kills another for their own perverse pleasure, and at the same time, she has no concern for the one that was tormented and killed by him. It can only be that she loves barbaric and evil people and gets some sort of insane pleasure from their wanton and sadistic deeds. Maybe we should offer an exchange program. If youÂ’re really against capital punishment, trade your life for the life of the murderer. I'll bet the cowards that are opposed to capitol punishment would cower in some dark corner at that prospect.

I live in ISRAEL.Except for Except for Eichman we don't have a death penalty - even for terrorists who have blown up buses and worse. Life of any kind must be treasured. Who better than us would know!

How is blowing up buses and worse treasuring life? Also terrorists die in those explosions as well dont they? How would the dealth penalty even be pertinent to that situation?
People who do recieve the dealth penalty do deserve it. It's not as if these people who are executed are first time offenders or that the crimes they commit are misdemeanors. These criminals don't deserve to live. It's the innocent people they have hurt that don't deserve what they got.

Washington State loves it's pervos, misfits , feebs and felons. Must be a "wobbley" state-of-mind ... or a Rawlsian one where perfection and beauty are **not** the highest values , but flaw and imperfection rule.

To obtain the Washington ideal, clear-thinking is befuddled, the far-sighted are made blind and the swift crippled. Oh yeah -- toss a few climbers off icy ledges. Explains lots about Microsoft Window$ OS ... hehehe
