hey dad, i hear ya. and no tract aint scary, never has been, but it is tru, things and times change. and all the addicts and alcoholics don't live there. there are families that live there that don't drink or do drugs, as far as i am concerned, tract is like any other neighborhood. just people like to stereotype to make themselves feel better and almighty. ignorance is the true shame.

tract 33 is what you make it.Yes there is drug and crime..and drama.Just like any other neighborhood! But it only effects the people who look for it.If you mind your own buisness you are fine.Nobody will attack you or beat you.Reservation life is what we make it.You have to take the bad with good.It could be alot worse.Look at Pine Ridge. There average income for a year is 2,500 to 3,000 The average age for life is 43.We have to look at the good and keep building on it.There is bad every where. As long as people ponder on the bad.Put all there focus on it.It just fuels it like a fire.

yeah, these peeps who are committin crimes on the rez and against there own peeps should be stripped of their membership, escorted off the rez, basically kick em to the curb. the perps, i often hear them call themselves "warriors". these peeps need to be educated bout their history. a warrior would never prey on the weak, old, real young, or on his own people for that matter. a warrior protects his people and cares for them. tract will always be tract. if you dont dig it dont hit it. im a tract star my damnself, born there, n still proudly call it my home, cuz leech lake rez is my home and my people. peace.

why does everyone like to talk shit about tract? if someone doesn't like it then they should actually do something about it instead of talking about it. take a stand.

that is so stupid. getting raped, jumped or drugged?? HA! that can happen ANYWHERE! a lot of shit that happens on tract involves ppl that dont even live on tract. ive lived on tract on & off my whole life and not once has any of that ever happened to me. im related to about 90% of the ppl that live on tract and calling everybody alcoholics and druggies is not right. Not everybody is an alcoholic or a drug addict. tract is where drug addicts n alcoholics go for one reason or another. lots of ppl are just trying to make it while getting fkd by the govt & the lltc. we dont need these stereotypes. n if all u see is bad in tract then obviously u dnt kno wtf ur talking about. now im not saying its a rainbows and sunshine sort of place but its not as bad as ppl think it is. the same shit that happens in cl also happens every where else in usa. u dont know what its really like so keep ur pathetic comments to urself.

I grew up on Tract when the facility center still hadda cigarette vending machine and sheds were still standing in the back yards. Back then the only drugs people were into was weed and alcohol. I was too young to do both, but this place holds a sacred place in my heart because majority of my child hood friends I Met on Tract. RIP Brent H., Fuddly, Duane J, Dion S and Jermee K. Some of us went to prison and some of us are still in the reservation struggle that comes from living on the rez. I see some of the negative postings about not being proud about tract and how savvy it is and it's disheartening to hear people express such shame about this place I consider my childhood stomping grounds. Regardless, poverty has lead our next generations to continue in this cycle of living a destructive life and ultimately who has failed the people? Every one has free choice and free will but I don't blame any one if their only escape is to do some of the negative bs that people speak so negatively about because reality of it is what kind of positive outlets do we have on the rez when you feel lost and hopeless? It's easy to kick a mofo when he down an out but tract will always stand as a good place for me regardless of where it's at today. SWTY EDDIE.

i moved to tract when i was a few months old. i seen all the bad shit the happen there. the worst times are the beging of the summer and i was probly there. most of the shit that happns there, are people that don't even live there. the people who really do, they are always watchen each others backs. the people that come from out side o tract are the people who start shit. they get drunk and tough and go to tract and talk shit to th people who are tryin to just have a good day. while i lived there, there were people who tryed to kick my doors in. i was in a house that got shot up in tract. and the person wasnt even from tract!!! i had nothin but family and friends there and i love it, cause i know everyone. the people are just tryen to make a living! "so why do people have to talk so much shiy!!!" you should just really go the and tell the peoale around there how you really feel. are you going to?????
