I am so sad to learn of Amber's death. She was a good woman. It's horrible.

How horrible, a drunk crosses the yellow line and kills an innocent person. We do not make enough efforts to stop such acts. Bars are open all over at all times. When I tried and lobbied to make the bar owner responsible for DUI injuries I was threaten with physical violence. I lobbied to make all bars close by midnight on week days and by 1 PM on weekends and spoke out publicly but nothing happened other than I got calls and threats of violence that the police never took seriously. I bet that if we knew the man he has driven drunk in the past. Wake up Louisiana and do something before more innocent people get killed. Make the laws tough for people to drive drunk

The people who make and distribute Alcohol products should be held liable for alcohol related wrecks. They should be levied a special tax that for a fund used to pay of wrecks and set up Drug treatment centers.

And gun manufacturers should be held responsible for murders too, right?

Heck, why not hold Ford, Chevy, and Nissan responsible too....after all, a drunk driver can't be a drunk driver without a car, right?

I am with You on this, We need to stop excusing bad behavior and hold people responsible for what they do? In some European countries if you are found Drunk in public, the authorities will place you in a mental hospital. The reasoning is that, anyone who would this to their bodies has got to be insane. It is one thing that I do agree with them on.
