How would you feel as a Mother to know that your 19 (now 20) year old son was dating a 28 year old woman who has a 5 year old daughter? Then learning that your son was actually with this woman before she divorced her husband?

I am so very sorry and I understand where you are coming from. My son dated this older woman with a child for over two years. I was devastated. Thank God she didn't trap him into being a father which was my greatest fear. One day he said he woke up and thought to himself what am I doing and left her. He later admitted that the child was the problem.

Momma, I have friends who have thought they were so in love with older, married women and some did have kids. I actually went to the home of one of these friends and watched my friend interact with this woman and her kid, and trust me when I say that the daddy roll didn't suit him at all. I just looked at him and thought to myself what are you thinking? Yes, he thought he was in love with her for a long time and did admit he couldn't stand the child but was attracted to the woman. My friend was in school and his grades were going down hill right along with his future. His Mom and Dad were devastated that he was with her. they are still on again off again and he has lost so many friends due to her. I do however feel badly for the child who is being pushed away for the boyfriend who is faking love for her just to continue to stay in this woman's pants. My friend is 20 years old,*** is all he thinks about and I really think she is going to trap him by getting pregnant. Even her family has disowned her. It's just messed up

omg. that sounds exactly like my story. when i found out my 20 year old son was dating a 27 year old woman with 2 year old twins i about flipped my wig. i couldnt understand with all the bs going on in his life why in the world would he add more. i thought about putting in my two cents but thank goodness i didnt.
12 years later;
my son has been married to the older woman for over ten years now and there love for one another amazes me. the twins are my darling grandchildren and i cant imagine not having them and their mother in my life.
my advice to you;
live your own life and let your son live his the best he can even though he looks at children as a problem.
