Oh hell, yeah!

"Documents obtained last week by The Waldron News seemingly implicate three unsuccessful candidates for county offices in the 2010 election in the production and distribution of an unflattering letter and photograph attacking the character of a fourth man who was seeking a constable position.
The documents, obtained from a citizen who received them from the Scott County Sheriff office after a Freedom of Information request, implicates former sheriff hopeful Jimmy “Dober” Yandell, justice of the peace candidate David Long and former county official and failed candidate for county treasurer Lenny McDaniel in a statement given to county deputy Todd Garzon on October 22, a week after the distribution of the letter.
All three of the men identified in the investigation were Republican candidates in the 2010 general election.
The subject of the fabricated letter was Craig D. Straight, who was a candidate for a constable position at the time. The letter addressed Straight’s former employment in law enforcement as well as detailing an incident in Mexia, Texas accusing Straight of inappropriate behavior with a ten year old boy.
The documents were unavailable for several months as the local prosecutors weighed the decision whether to file charges in the incident.
“I went to the sheriff’s office the day after the letter started making the rounds,” said Straight.“I requested a criminal investigation and tried for a long time to get the information from the investigation, but since it was open they wouldn’t provide the documents.”
The Scott County Sheriff Office investigated the incident pursuant to state statute 5-71-209A(1)(harassing communication/telephone, telegraph or any other written form) and turned their findings over to the 15th Judicial Prosecutors office in Yell County.
“For whatever reason, I guess they have decided not to prosecute at this time”, said Straight, who said he is still exploring his civil options.
After Straight took his complaint to Scott County deputy Keith Vanravensway on October 14, 2010 and returned a written statement to the agency five days later. Deputy Todd Garzon launched an investigation that led to an October 22 interview with Crystal Yandell, the estranged wife of Jimmy “Dober” Yandell.
Garzon’s interview with Crystal Yandell was based on video surveillance from a convenience store in LeFlore County, Oklahoma which showed her and Jimmy Yandell burning materials in a dumpster that turned out to be copies of the letter and photograph of Straight.
Crystal Yandell then admitted that she and Jimmy Yandell had burned a copy of the letter in Oklahoma and further stated that the letter had been written by Lenny McDaniel, who was stuffing numerous envelopes containing copies of the letter into a bag at David Long’s residence in Hon while wearing rubber gloves.
Crystal Yandell said that Jimmy Yandell mailed the letters from multiple mailing points starting from Heavener, Oklahoma stopping at the post offices and other US postal mail collection points along the way to Poteau, Oklahoma.
When Scott County residents started receiving the letters, a number of them contacted Straight and several others contacted the Waldron police department and the sheriff’s office.
Several prominent residents received the letter and because of changes of addresses that had occurred, it appeared that the envelopes had been addressed using an outdated list of registered voters in Scott County.
All three of the implicated men lost their bid for election in the November 2010 balloting. Yandell lost 2273-790 to incumbent sheriff Cody Carpenter, McDaniel was out-balloted 2275-884 in his bid against Teresa Scantling for the treasurer’s office and Long lost his justice of the peace bid 300-92 against Caleb Free.
The narrative of Straight’s initial meeting with Vanravensway, Straight’s written statement and Garzon’s narrative with Crystal Yandell are all reprinted in their entirety in today’s Waldron News.

Frantically, the snakes crawl back into the weeds.
Understand, we know all about your crimes.
Can you sleep at night?
Keep a straight face when you go to church?

Lots of people have wised up.
Everyone knows you're crooks.
Now, we have all seen through the facade.
Never again will we be duped.
You're a fool if you think otherwise.

Read the capital letters at the start of each sentence above the line down the row vertically to decipher a secret message.

And that's all I've got to say about that.

That's very clever. You should write children's books. Just don't ask Oscar Mayer to be your be your sponsor. That would be in poor taste.

By the way, this isn't him };-)》

Are you going to ask the New sheriff to fire the chief jailer and hire you for half pay? Then the Wally World Water Boy could become second in command, like Roscoe P. Coltrane. Hows that for a lymric?:O→&#8593 ;

You guys and your obsession with wieners is a little concerning. Playing with each others isn't enough to satisfy your urges?
