County gets on the bus with proposed VanGO changes
VanGO users will likely see a change in the frequency and convenience of the familiar red commuter buses as early as January.

I got another idea....
Why don't they put trash cans, near the stops, so people can throw their trash in the can instead of on the ground. Take a look at a majority if these Van Go stops and notice all the trash on the ground. I live near the Country Lane/Nike Rd pick-up and the place is a dump!!! My kids and I have picked up the trash several times, called Van Go to do something about it, called the county, and I've even picked up a beer bottle that was thrown out of a car and delivered it to the Sheriffs office for action.
Anyway, my guess is...when the trash starts piling up around La Plata the Commissioners will do something then. Oh wait, the county workers keep La Plata nice and clean (and mowed) already. But Waldorf, where a majority of the counties tax revenue is generated, is oft neglected. Take a drive, look around...then ask..."where is my county tax revenue going"? Maybe it's time for Waldorf to incorporate and keep our locally generated funds this side of Billingsly.
Just a thought....
