I canceled my service with Evergreen in February. They owe me a refund. I was told by their billing department, they will send my refund in a few days. Well, it's been more then a month and 10 phone calls and still....No check. Each time I've called, I was told, the check is in the mail.
Oh, and get this.....the last phone call, the rep said, "I will send someone out to your home, to personally hand you the check." These people(who's really a branch off from "Waste Mangement") think I'm crazy. I've been patient, but not no more. My next call will be to report this.
I should've check with "BBB" before I enlisted their service.

Do not use them!! You do not get the service that you pay for. They can't explain why they are not picking up on scheduled days. They tell you that it will get pick up the next day .. LIE!! No one ever comes. I have been a resident of Waldorf for 40 years. this has been the worst trash collector that I have have had the misfortune of dealing with.

We signed up on 6/9/2011, they charged our credit card and as of today, 6/27/2011 they have not picked up our trash. We call all the time and they say they will be at our house, yet they do not come.

Do not use this company.

I canceled my service last year and was told I would receive a $22.00 refund which I never received. They also never would come and pick up their trash can and it's still sitting in my back yard. Their service stinks and I will never use them again.

They want the business and the money without the service. I'venever had my trash picked up at 6-7 in the evening!!! I just spoke to some kid who claimed she was the only person in the office until they hired someone else, and who couldn't answer a billing question other than to say, "Well I don't know what to tell you -- I'm looking at in the computer and that's what you owe -- whatever the guy told you when he came out there was wrong." This kid has had no customer service training, doesn't understand Evergreen's billing, and could care less! Had I known this was a leg of Waste Management, I would have stayed with my previous service -- I'm sure they'll welcome my business.

I changed to Evergreen because of the price. My last collector was excellent tho more expensive. I've had Evergreen for about one month and I've had to call them every trash day to pick up my trash. This past Tuesday was pick up day and today is Thursday and they still have not picked it up. They keep saying we will pick it up the next morning. I'm getting rid of this lousy outfit.

Do you really think they are a branch of Waste Management? I had Waste Management before I switched and was paying over $150 per quarter. Do you really think Waste Management would pay someone to come to my house and sign me up for half what I was already paying them. That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. I did look them up on the bbb and they have an A rating. My service has been great.

Hello, I'm to Charles County and all of this is new to me. If dont mind me asking, who did you use prior to Evergreen?

When it comes to picking a trash company there's not much that distinguishes one from another, so on the multiple occasions that an Evergreen salesperson came by my house I didn't have a reason to leave my current company (AA reliable) until.... the Evergreen sales rep told me that in addition to regular trash service, they offered (at no additional charge) extra pick up services like yard waste and bulk items. I asked lots of questions like "how much will you pick up?" The salesman told me to simply call ahead and they would take care of it all. That, to me, was a great addition, so I signed up.
This week was the first opportunity I had to test it. We placed our real Christmas tree, in a tree bag at the curb. Surprise, Surprise... no pick up. "Ah, Yes" I thought, "I just forgot to call". So I called. I was told "Those things were all lies, so we fired the guy that sold that contract to you, and we do not offer those services." The only problem is, most everyone on my block bought from "that guy". In my case, those promises were the reason we switched. I can imagine that was the case with others since there was enough backlash for him to be fired. If that was a lie, what else is a lie? My price guarantee? A responsible company would have at least sent out a pamphlet to give an overview of their services and correct any misconception their customers had as a result of their one time employee.
There is not much I want from a trash company. Pick up trash on time, give me a good price, and be ethical.$5 a quarter savings is not enough to deal with an unethical company. Save yourself the stress and find a company with a better reputation.
Back to AA reliable for me. Good, honest, on time trash company. And that's all I'm looking for.

I have lived in Waldorf for 6 months and have not had a problem with Evergreen. My only complaint (if it really is one) is that they sometimes come at 5:00am and wake me up before I really need to. Otherwise, they have picked up as scheduled. It would be nice if I could pay my bill online instead of buying a stamp or calling customer service.

I saw the post here on about trash companies, I signed up with Evergreen 2 years ago with one of their sales rep at my door. They saved me over $90 a quarter. My trash has always been picke up and the guys who pick my trash up are very nice. I now see their cans everywhere in my neighborhood. I did look them up at bbb.org and they have an A rating. I would highly recomend them. If you don't have their service you can look them up at www.evergreen-disposal.com

I live in Billingsley Park in White Plains. This past Saturday, June 9th, I was awakened at 3:15 am with Evergreen trash service. Not only was is an uacceptable hour to pick-up trash,but they were backing into my elderly neighbor's private driveway and my yard to turn around. BEEP, BEEP. BEEP and throwing headlights into my bedroom window. This is totally unacceptable and I plan to continue to complain to local police and county government until this practice is rectified. Your website indicates trash should be outside by 5 am ---not 3:15 am!!

I like the service thus far but the website is horrible. There is no phone number and my bill says I can pay online on their website but there is no make payment option. So needless to say I thought I could pay the date my bill was due after work and their closing hours, but since the option does not appear on the page as stated my bill is late and I have a late fee of $10. So website is totally useless unless you need to know the weather in your area.

Please tell me where the make a payment option is. I spent about 40 minutes going back to the website to find it. I even tried googling it in case it was misprinted on the bill, but all to no avail which made my bill payment late so I said forget it I'm already late so I guess I'll call it in during business hours

They are the worst Trash company in Waldorf. They did not pick up my trash. I called and the person that answer the phone said they would send someone out to pick it up. Well just like the rest of the complaints not a person came to pick up my trash. One pick up day they took some of my trash and left two bags sitting next to the trash bin. I called about three times and each time the person said they would send someone. They never did. Extremely poor service. My mother always said you get what you pay for. That's why they offer a low rate because the service sucks.

Worst Company Ever

Pick up the trash!!!! I notified Evergreen that I was discontinuing my service as of 09/30/2013 because I was moving. They picked up their trash container on 09/30 but left the trash and boxes that was sitting next to the trash container. I have called the office several times this week and spoke with Christine and Mr. Steve Johnson, and was told by each of them that the trash would be picked up. It is now Friday, October 4, 2013 and the trash is still sitting in front of the house. GO PICK UP THE DARN TRASH!!!!!!!!!!

Not only that but they have the nerve to charge a $20 fee when you cancel your service. It's a trash can reconditioning fee.(Come on Man!!!)

Pick up the trash. The trash was not picked up on Monday, September 30, 2013.
