I hear you Sue, I am Mark's cousin and we have been calling DA's and newspapers, and hopefully someone will listen. One of the biggest tragedys is that she still has custody of those children. Someone has to listen, we are going to go seek help from a victim advocate and it just feels like we are screaming and no one is listening(judicial system that is.) This woman is dangerous, she plunged 12 inch knife into my cousins chest, and while he was bleeding to death and went for help, (with her 7 year old son running after him) she preceded to sit down and have a beer. (not before she filled the sink with soapy water and put he butcher knife in it) But left a 12 inch pool of blood on the floor. SHE IS SICK and needs to be stopped, she has abused so many people, she needs to be stopped.

Can you get any info from your end. I have hit a brick wall as far as Tennessee is concerned. I am going to put another call in to the DA down there and will get the name of the boyfriend. Right now, I only have his last name.

WALDOBORO — Amy Dugas is on her way back to Maine to face charges that she violated conditions of her probation.
Dugas, 37, who is serving two years probation for assault on an officer, was arrested last month in Rutherford County, Tenn., for domestic assault.
Patrick Delahanty, probation officer for Dugas, said on Monday that Dugas was in transit from a county jail in Tennessee where she has been charged with a domestic assault.
Delahanty said that Dugas was in the custody of federal marshals and that her arrival in Maine was uncertain. Once in the state she would likely be housed in Kennebec or York County, because the Lincoln County Jail is closed.
By law, Dugas would then come before a judge in an initial hearing within 14 days. A court date would then be held to determine the merits of the charges that caused her arrest in Tennessee, according to Delahanty.
In September 2005, she was sentenced to 330 days in jail for kicking her husband Mark Dugas in the eye with a boot on Feb. 26, 2004 at his friend’s home in Jefferson. Dugas was required to serve 23 days in jail for the charge.
She also was sentenced to two years with all but 307 days suspended for kicking a Lincoln County Sheriffís Deputy in the groin as he tried to arrest her on the assault charge. In addition, Dugas received a concurrent 15-day sentence for criminal mischief for damaging the cruiser’s window and a concurrent 10-day sentence for refusing to sign a summons.
She had already spent 10 months in jail awaiting trial for the charge of murdering her husband.
In April 2005, Dugas was found not guilty of all charges in connection with the June 2004 stabbing death of her husband.
