Fired police chief sues Wake Village

Former Wake Village Police Chief Tony Estes has filed a civil lawsuit against the City of Wake Village based on his April 9 termination.

Now it seems that this story of why Tony Estes was fired was posted on here and someone did not believe it was true. It seems that the story is now coming out to the public.

I will be happy when this court date starts.
This will be good.
People don't you know he won't end up with a dime.
The sorry criminal Estes will kick the bucket before trial.

Thing is unless a insurance company wants to settle out of court it will go no where.

But in this county many suit's as this just settle out of court.
It won't mean Tony didn't commit any crimes.
What will hurt is not having the evidence and never assembling the evidence locker.

It makes it easy for criminals to take things that aren't locked away.

It is hard to collect a judgment.

Estes has been put on probation on more than one occasion and failed to follow several procedures required of him as police chief.

Estes failed to receive pay increases due to poor job performance evaluations.

Estes failed to follow procedures as to departmental administration including, but not limited to failing to seek authority from the mayor and or/council to provide an employee a substantial pay increase, administrate payroll documents and to hire employees.

Estes failed to communicate with Huddleston on complaints concerning street and traffic problems and agenda items set on the Council meet agenda relating to the department.

Estes failed to perform routine patrol shifts, plan and implement crime patrol programs, directly supervise and train all officers who are under his direction.

Estes failed to respond to official requests and act upon directions given to him.

He can always go to work for his brother.:)

I don't believe the county rules would allow that.

Then I would never have believed that the defence attorney for Paul Boone would have answered a open record request denying that records exist in feedin inmates.
Much less admitt they knew they were braking the law.

This investigating of the mayor has been a on going thing as the investigating of Estes.

The mayor has yet to be arrested.

Stand behind what you have done.
You the people made the choice to remove the man.

He should remain out of the job.

Also Hellcat I do not know if you have kep up with the Gentry thing.
But his personal file showed many reprimands by chief Ralph Allen.
Had Boone and Estes removed the man, cases may have been investigated.
He may not have been a investigator that molest children. Taz says that just does not happen.

I wonder if these evaluations were filed by the mayor who was being investigated. Sounds to me like they had thier own reasons for getting rid of the chief.
