i worked with cory at the farmers diner. he was a great kid and a hard worker, and all of us who worked with him loved having him there. cory's death is a tragedy, and he is sorely missed.

I would like to make it clear that Cory was not hoarsing around. He wanted nothing to do with being around a gun.

Cory was my cousin, and I want everyone to know that he was such a good kid, he hated guns he wanted nothing to do with it. He just loved to make people laugh, Auntie, I am so sorry for your loss... you did such a great job raising him and Aaron and Katie and Kelly and Kayla, you even raised me for a while, Cory was as bright as a star and lit up everything around him, He is so loved and will be so missed, I only wish I could have said goodbye..... R.I.P Cory, you are loved.

I'm honored to say that I feel I knew Cory very well. I had the opportunity to be with Cory when he was happy, sad, angry, confused, struggling with homework, working on art projects, dressing up for Halloween, and just being stupid goofy in which he enjoyed sooo much. Cory was our foster son and in the hearts of our family and our extended family he wasn't really our foster son... Cory was our own son too! He lived with us for about 4 years. He had tremendous joy in making others laugh and was extremely considerate of others feelings. I don't believe I knew anyone who didn't like Cory. He was just an awesome young man!

Cory didn't like guns! He didn't want anything to do with it! Unfortunately he made the choice to be around people who were often drugging and intoxicated and on that night didn't respect guns the way this young man should have. Now the people who love Cory forever will miss Cory because of a person who had no respect for Cory and for guns. I do hope that Cory's death won't be for nothing and/or forgotten and that all who love Cory will stop drinking & drugging and respect their own lives and respect how Cory died. Do the right thing!

Now Cory will never be sad or angry or hurt... I miss you & love you more then you ever could imagine Cory... Our whole family misses you and we still think about you and talk about you everyday. Always...

I would like to say that I was blessed with the chance to get to know Cory when he was in foster care and after that when I became friends with his sister, Katie. He was a great kid and he was VERY loved.. He had alot of friends because he was a funny kid and he had alot of talent. He was a very good rapper and he could rap about anything you asked him too. I have some really good memories with Cory and I can say that I would never trade them for anything in the world.

I was there at the hospital when my best friend came running out of the family room and fell into her fathers arms right next to me screaming that her brother was dead. That night will run through my mind like it was yesterday. The family is going through hell, I have the same name as he did and his family calls me Corky now because the pain is to great to call me Cory. Now thats real love!

Its almost been a year and it feels like it has been forever that he has been gone. I wish that I could have just said good bye and given him that last hug. I can say this isnt easy for anyone and it never will be easy no matter how long we wait.

I just want people to know that he would do anything for anyone and that he was a very loving person and I hope that everyone that knows him will never forget him because I know that I never will...

RIP Cory, Until we meet again--

I hope that people will start healing now. Cory would want people to get over their anger and start to find happiness. Lets do what he would have wanted.

Thank you...
