You and your co-workers? Workers get paid. You and your co-slaves should start looking for EMPLOYMENT in a business that can withstand a recession. Failure to make payroll is a sure sign of business failure.
FYI, I don't work at this or any Taco John's. I don't live in Rosemount or anywhere near it. I do think that these young men should be commended for trying to save their place of employment. There are not many young people who like their jobs much less their employers, so what they are doing speaks volumes to me. You obvioulsy don't think much of them or their employer, so be it, that's your choice.

Please read the article again, it says the employees have donated part of their wages and hours, that means they still get paid, just not as much as they would had they not donated. That means there are wages still being paid. Some volunteered an hour, some volunteered a day or two. The manager Todd Harapat came up with the deal and approached two employees and they agreed. Soon after that, more employees came on board, the owner knew nothing of the plan in the first place. The owner only asked the manager to be careful in scheduling hours and ordering product.

The employees jumped on board with the idea presented them, they were not made to do this with a threat of being let go. The only four that decided not to do this were college students, needing to pay for tuition, books and so forth. The manager said he understood that they need their full paychecks for their extra expenses.
